The Miami Herald reported this morning that former Griz linebacker Jordan Tripp signed a 4-year contract with the Dolphins, just in time for Miami's 3-day rookie mini-camp, which begin today.

Major congrats to JT and best of fortunes to him in his pro career---WELL deserved! :thumb:

Looks like guaranteed money is about $160,000 and if he goes through all four years of his contract, will net about 2.4 million. That is great for him.

Congratulations! Hope he makes all the dough in the contract and more! Great for him and his family, proud he is a GRIZ!

I hope he has a lot more incentives ... $160K guaranteed sucks.

Yea, $160,000 large is chump change to play football for a year! You Gen Y'ers are sure the entitled crowd aren't you? :coffee:

It's a pretty standard rookie contract. Tripp could get cut today and still take home 160k. If he plays all year on the active roster, he'll likely make 375+k.

Congrats... I hope there is several more contracts in the future for all Griz... What I really hope though is that they manage the money and all that accompanies it smartly
