Should have been called back for a stupid block in the back on Ralston at about the 7 yard line just as TV was crossing the goal line. Very nice run, it would have been a shame.

If DOLA is measured by illegal blocks downfield that don't benefit the play then I think the I'd be just as happy without it. But, what the heck, when a bone head play like that costs the Griz a TD and when they can't grind it after being assessed the penalty because they don't actually demonstrate that "dominant attitude" at the line of scrimmage, feel free to celebrate.

When I was watching the game live, I would often curse JD for a seemingly "stupid penalty". Then almost inevitably when I re-watched the game, I would see that he was simply protecting another Griz player (usually a QB or running back) from a cheap shot against them. Loved that attitude!
