Travon Van

High ankle sprains can be a bitch, recovery time for a mild one could be a couple weeks or a couple months for a severe one. Tougher for skills guys too, they do so much cutting and quick starts/stops it puts pressure on the strain, you could really risk more damage if you push it.

I really hope we're only looking at a couple weeks, bad timing with EWU coming to town though.

The Griz won't have Travon or Walcott for EWU for sure. Don't know about Chief. Hope Tonga is good now that he only played two snaps against Poly. He should be rested for sure.

I think Counts will have more planned reps now that they know he's the No. 2 guy for the time being.

When I watched the DVR last night when I got home, I noticed two guys go in I hadn't seen this year, but maybe I just missed em. Berland got quite a few snaps on offense, and Mike Ralston got in on D, so I guess that answers his Redshirt status.

I believe this is the last play where the injury may have occurred.

You can see the bottom tackler's left shoulder rolling on Van's left ankle/lower leg. Good photo.
Oh that's a cheap shot. Those Cal Poly boys r dirty. He did that on purpose so we'd lose to EW

Are you sure you saw Ralston? I know he dressed but don't remember seeing him. Also I thought he was playing TE not defense?

Ralston was wearing No. 98 so if he goes on the field, he can't line up as a tight end in that number. I saw him on the field with hsi helmet on but I guess that didn't mean he actually got in the game. But it looked like he was coming off the field back to the sidelines so IDK.
