Just got pass by the Beachliners with the team on my way to Pocatello, wondering were all the fans are that used to also go over to games with Beachliners.

Those were the days we thought our beloved Griz could not lose a game, and for the most part didn’t.

What’s changed.

Coaching....those years cycled through many players and even coaches and still got results....now nope

I flew to Pokey for the game. There will be 2500 GRIZ fans there tomorrow. There were 4000 in Portland last weekend. Nothing's changed, despite the negative nellies wishing it has.

For all the negative nellies crying doom and gloom, it's amazing that we have a fan base that sends anywhere from 2,500 to 7,000 fans to an away game.

We are driving to Pokey from Helena tomorrow morning.

Unfortunately, there are a few loudmouths around here who have quit on this program, and they assume everyone else has as well.

Man you guys are at wayyyy different road games then me. The two road games the Griz have played this year have had HUGE Griz turnouts. There was a massive crowd at UW and that game was 150 percent unwinnable. Last week, there were very close to being more Griz fans than PSU fans. There was a huge contingent of UM fans in Portland. There will be in Pocatello tomorrow. And this really unintelligent and uniformed thread, what does that say about the fan bases of the other perceived Big Sky powers? EWU, MSU, Weber? Their fan bases don't even come remotely close to traveling as well as the Griz do. Bobcats fans are certainly second to UM in travel, but it's still not close.

There were absolutely more Griz fans than psu fans last week. Very easily could be a similar story today. Used to be that way in Spokane when they played at a DI level facility and didn't limit our access to tickets.

You're no longer a fanboy?

Engstrom

and if Stitt doesn't show that he can begin the turnaround, then he will go the way of Engstrom. It takes a while to rebuild a program, but, as we found out, it only takes one incompetent to do real damage.

Booster clubs and the GSA used to sponsor fan buses to various away games. Don't believe they do that any more, and I wonder why.

Hillsboro is not exactly a great college football gameday setting and Griz fans were loud and very present last weekend.

Washington fans on Reddit commented about how well Montana represented - better than some other Pac 12 fanbases.

That is the point I was trying to get across.

Guess I still don't quite get your point. I thought the buses were a nice convenience (we took one once), but many more people travel on their own, including us.
