All we hear is how bad Cat fans are; and yet the hypocrisy in this thread shows how a select few are displaying the same behavior.

As for the Cats. I’ve never have watched a game. I doubt I can think of 5 of their players. I don’t like them nor hate them. Frankly I could care less about them. At best they are the 3rd best overall school IMO in the state. They are dead to me BUT I will always call out grown men looking like fools for lambasting a kid for behavior they all did at the same age especially when it’s hypocritical

My theory is that the whole incident was a social commentary performed near the anniversary of former FCS star Randy Moss' disgusting act in Green Bay. As a true performing arts critic, my only issue with it is that, while St. Thomas appeared to merely be drawing attention to Moss' disgusting act to highlight the disparity of treatment based on talent level, he forgot that he is no Randy Moss. The talent level defines the art. It's somewhat akin to me splashing paint on a canvas to say, "Jackson Pollock did the same thing and people loved it." I, sir, am no Jackson Pollock.

Nobody is defending the act. Many thought it funny. I’m arguing against the hypocrisy of Griz fans that historically have complained about bad Cat fan behavior.

I totally understand Bizon fans being upset because they may take it as a sign of disrespect

Many more thought it classless and unsportsmanlike. What a way to represent Montana on the national stage. The Bizon team and fans got the last laugh for that "funny" move.

Got harassed once by three cops while sitting in a parking lot eating my lunch. They tore apart my car telling me no white guy from Montana should be in that neighborhood on that side of the tracks in the car I was driving. Couldn’t believe I was there for legitimate reason even when I showed them my paperwork. Lot of trash in Alabama that day that needed cleaning ….three arrogant pricks in blue.

IMO, one of the worst states I’ve worked in. And I have been to all of them before I was 35. Hopefully it’s better because this incident happened in the 90s.

Interesting job, From meeting famous people (like Max Alvis and Mark Chestnut) to getting caught in Hurricane Andrew to spending a day in East St Louis (told to be out of town before 4 pm) to getting caught up in drug raid in Texas. All in the 90s.

Not mad or upset more that we think it is hilarious that everyone outside of Montana thinks of Tommy Mellott as a meme trashcan Tommy and does not know or care at all about his great career with the Cats prior to the trashcan incident.
