Trash Cats on Bad Beats

The Bobcats were letting the clock run out after what turned out to be the second to last play. But little Hawkins called a timeout with 8 seconds left. Obviously he wanted to run another play for his defense, so Vigen obliged him.
Yes, Hawkins wanted to get another play. Then their defense gave up a TD when the Cats play was run.

Sure buddy. I love the stuff bubz have to tell themselves. I could just as easily speculate that Hawkins called the TO to sub or for any other reason.
If the bubz wanted to run the clock out, there is a very respectable and common way to do that.
Instead, they were calling the same plays they always call with their STARTERS still in.

So, the clock is running with 8 seconds left, more than enough time on the play clock to let it run out, Bobcats weren't lining up for another play, and ISU decides they need a timeout to sub????? For what?

Dude. Your own coach admitted in his presser yesterday it was a mistake and he regretted it.
So why TF are you over here trying to defend it with rank speculation?!?
Good grief you bubz are insecure

Bullshit. Neither ESPN's play by play nor that on the bub's site (I've sterilized after visiting and thrown my laptop away) show an ISU timeout after the one taken at 2:39.

Not only are bubs completely classless, but liars as well. Now it's beginning to make sense why they gave raises to criminals.

Oh, and the fuckers were going no-huddle. I can't wait till Bobby puts up 104 on Sixx.

I was going to make this post. Vigen admits he shouldn't have ran a play. Poor decision. Why would someone defend him? LOL

The thing is I said we were gonna hang 70 on forehead state and Bobby took a knee🤣 Dammit it. I need to switch to the kittens as we can count on them;)

That seems like to many points....

It’s such a weird combo that these bubs suffer.
Unsupportable arrogance mixed inescapable insecurity.
Streak derangement syndrome is real, and should be a DSM diagnosis.
I was extremely disappointed that he apologized. I was hoping he’d own it. Personally, I thought that was a worse look than not taking a knee.

No. He made a mistake. The whole world knows it and laughed at him for it. Last thing he could do is double-down and say the bungles were asking for it, or deserved it, or some equally dumb excuse. That’s bub logic and would have made it even worse because there was no explanation for the poor sportsmanship. When given a second chance, he took the high road. I actually give him a little respect for recognizing his blunder and apologizing.

Not really. Since he didn't give a timeline, they won't even need ColecoVison this time. In the 7 years since Bobby's return, he has hung 126 points in the Cats. As long as the fans don't start putting For Sale signs in his yard again, he'll probably get to 104 eventually.

You jokers obviously didn’t watch the game. Adam Jones helmet came off which stopped the clock. Vigen ran one more play and it was a simple run up the middle and ISU should’ve saw it coming but instead Humphrey got a 10+ yard run. Probably should’ve kneeled it but who actually cares. Anyways it did help the cats cover and put some $ into my pocket.

Maybe Vigen needed to cover the spread for himself too??

In his interview on Monday he was asked about it and he sincerely regretted scoring again. He basically said he wasn’t trying score he was just trying to run another play

Tbh, giving this much time and energy to a short gambling blurb on ESPN that featured MSU is giving a whole lot of rent free headspace to little brother.

Be better.
