Transfers to Griz (so far)

HookedonGriz said:
Our initial signing class was pretty strong with lots of solid MT kids and a few surprises. Since then, the staff has been working hard to bring in FBS and JUCO transfers to fill needs, add starters, and add depth and competition. So far I think they’ve knocked it out of the park….and they aren’t done yet:

QB Sam Vidlak (Boise St) - former 3 star, 4th best player in Oregon his senior year

DB Ronald Jackson Jr (Akron) - former 3 star

OL Cannon Panfiloff (Utah Tech) - offers from EWU, Weber, and UIW

LB Riley Wilson (Hawaii) - former 3 star (played receiver in HS)

That gives us six different 3 star kids now and they are still bringing in a few more. Our class in shaping up nicely!

Hauck is trying to remake the entire roster. He was in the front row to two beatdowns and he knows we don't have the players to compete with top-level teams. He even said in his singing-day press conference "we have a lot of chairs to fill."

Those were the chairs of guys who graduated.

He's remaking the entire roster. "we have lots of chairs to fill." Griz lost very few players to graduation. According to Hoops they are young.

So bob is only offering the same flavor of kool-aid again this year. Aren't people tired of living in the past glory days ?
Sequels are never as good as the original.

You're right - everything's just fine. Nothing to see here. RTD is just around the corner if we all just keep wishing hard enough.

What would people post about? Everybody knows we need at least 75 staff-trashing posts per day. Each one is original and clever. Why, I just read one that said something along the lines of, “Our coaches don’t develop players.” I need that 74 more times.

Or 75 amateur comedic posts from you, with none of them even remotely relative to Grizzly football. Pot.... meet kettle. Do you usually have a fruit plate with your fine whine?

Does anyone know how many full scholarships are left?

Not sure how many are available now, but there will be several available after spring ball, when some players leave on their own, and others are "encouraged" to leave. We need another QB, unless we want to be in the same boat we were in last season with no experienced back-up. I think we will find one after spring ball.

A coach can't "re-make" a roster, when they are only limited scholarships available. From those who departed, either at the end of the season or later. At least 2 lb's graduated. 1 transfer is coming in. 3 d-backs are graduating. 1 transfer is coming in. 1 o-lineman may or may not be done; 1 transfer o-lineman is coming in. 2 qb's are gone; 1 transfer is coming in. As I said, chairs of departed players.

You struck out on that complaint. Will have to look for something else to complain about.

Good. We can also use a couple wide receivers if scholarships are available.

The difference is, CDA has different material. You and the fuxk boys say the same crap 472 times every single fucking day... Bobby def pounded your guys' wife's or your wife, I'm sure you're 3 of the 5 douches.

Nope, they’ll all be moved to punter because Bobby and then Bobby because Bobby and Bobby Bobby all the time and Bobby all the Bobbies. Robby, too. There was a Robby who Robbied and all of us were like “Robby?!” Is this annoying? Is it annoying when I post this. Does this annoy you? Is it annoying, Hooked? Is it annoying? When I can’t post a cogent thought without denigrating the staff, is that annoying? Is that annoying?

Just want to get in before the swarm…

You're slacking CDA , you forgot about Bob,Robert and Rob .....

There are lots of scholarships. They will cut players after spring ball. Bobby is remaking the roster. He was embarrassed twice last year and he's going to try and fix the talent on the current roster.

Sequels are never as good as the original.

Ted, Horrible Bosses, Evan Almighty, and 22 Jump Street just to name a few. Definitely as good, if not better.

That’s funny. Pot meet kettle and then you call him a whiner. Pretty sure pissing and moaning is all you’ve done since you got here. That’s why God gave you two sets of lips. One to moan out of and one to piss out of.

I've provided more football discussion topics that most anyone. You're welcome to provide some topics yourself, or, ignore my posts. Whatever you choose. So, this thought crossed your mind? Must have been a long and lonely journey.

You should post your post about the coaches not being good and how you know more than they do. That one was great the first 600 times.

First time anyone has said that in a while. But I agree

I gave up on football discussions on eGriz a long time ago, something most sane people do. All discussions turn into pissing(and moaning) matches on here. Now I just come in here for the ever rare random Griz news and to poke the bee hive. Maybe you should quit yer snivelin’ unless you’re one of the crazies. Don’t give me that “I’m a die hard fan and deserve better” bull s h i t either. You really think posting on eGriz changes anything? I’m pretty sure it’s just a place to vent. Poke poke.

Yeah I would agree. Definitely need at least 1. How about a burner...or a great return guy. Or one of each...

Let's just stop with the Evan Almighty bullshit. I'll buy the other ones, but Bruce Almighty blows Evan out of the water. :werd:
