I keep reading that you can't do this or that. If you think some laws (by the ncaa) are going to keep money out of programs..... :lol: :lol: :lol:

There are always unexpected (and generally unintended) consequences to any moderately big decision/change. This seems likely to be headed for some big blowup or scandal.

No, I have no clue what it might be. However, I'd bet on a case where an independent agent screws a young athlete with a really one-sided (to the agent's benefit) deal. This just seems totally ripe for exploitation of athletes (and their families) by unscrupulous operators ... and history shows there are plenty of them out there.

At that point, there will be a huge demand for the schools to get closely involved to vet and approve these NIL deals. Another duty for the compliance office, I would guess.
