Kid ran a 11.27 100m in 2013 and a 11.82 100m in 2015. That's moving for a kid his size. Guessing he's a bit slower now that he's 6'1 215lbs but looks like he can still run north in a hurry.

His HUDL says he runs a 4.54 40 yard dash. Here's a video of him effortlessly dunking a basketball too. I like this pick up.

Looked like a pretty low hoop too. 6'1 aint tall enough too make a hoop look that short.

Anyways, love the athleticism.

I'll give you that traveling call but that has to be a 10 foot hoop. Gyms don't just suddenly have their side hoops set to 8-9 feet for the heck of it. Call it weird camera angle if you want to but I'm going with a 10 foot hoop.

strange that only 1 Griz coach follows him on twitter. (Justin Green)

Not really this probably came together fast and not even sure he's on scholarship. His Hudl highlight looks good but I'm not ready to give him all-world status as some of you are. I'll see what he can do first.

Tuff Harris was less than 6' and could so the same. Routinely stuffed in HS at Colstrip. The most impressive I ever saw was 60's Griz RB Willie Jones, who was 5'7". During winter drills in the Field House, bored listening to coachtalk, Willie just jumped straight up without taking a step, grabbed the rim and chinned himself with one arm. Of course Willie was a consistent 9.4 100 yd sprinter and long jumped 25'. Not bad 60's numbers on the cinder track of the campus Dornblaser. RIP Willie.

There was talk of him possibly joining the Griz clear back to at least March.

Probably because he couldn't crack the rotation. Too bad he might have got a chance later on in the year.

His father is Congressman Raul Labrador from Idaho's 1st Congressional District. His father is running for
Governor.

Doesn't that present a problem? Strongly indicates he will only run to the far right!!!

Is that any more of a problem than the far left, up the middle, or anywhere in between?

I was unaware that he had passed. He is maybe the best all around athalete to ever attend UM. I believe he played basketball, football, and track.

MISSOULA — Josh Labrador, a walk-on junior running back from Eagle, Idaho, has left the Montana football program.

In an interview with 406 MT Sports on Thursday afternoon, Labrador said that several factors went into his decision to leave the program.

"It was a combination of many things, a lot outside football as well," Labrador said. "I just wasn't sure if football was taking me where I wanted to be in life anymore. That made it hard for my heart to be all the way in and football is far too strenuous to be doing that. I spent a lot of time talking to my parents, family and friends and it came down to this being what felt right for me."

Labrador will be moving home to Idaho this weekend and will try to get into a college closer to home for next semester.

He said that he told running backs coach Justin Green his final decision to leave the program on Thursday.

"He was very respectful about it," Labrador said. "He wants the best in life for his guys in football and out."

Wish Josh the best, seems like a very good kid. Changes are part of life, good luck Josh!!

I think Scott Zanon was the best all around athlete I ever saw.
