Trailed Only Once All Year Entering the 4th

Jesu Christe! It comes down to depth plain and simple. We will be able to piss pound teams into submission in the 4th quarter in the near future just like 2003-2009. Just give the guy a chance to get all of his boys across the board. There was no magic adjustments made by other teams in the 2nd half, they just wore our two deep down (where we were two deep). Hauck's first time around he was handed the keys to a cadillac and he kept it polished. This time it is more like a Pinto, without the power train mind you.

I do agree that lack of experience, youth and lack of depth were the main reasons.

Of course, fumbles and turnovers are usually killers, and the 2 fumbles against the Cats were huge. But with more experience, less youth and more depth, those fumbles wouldn't have decided the game, in my view, because UM would have been further ahead. Also, the last fumble, was partially on the o-line, which had plenty of inexperience, youth and lack of depth.

UM didn't have a huge number of turnovers this year, but they mainly case in bunches and later in games. Don't know why.

Look at how the receivers had a couple games with a bunch of fumbles, and then none or virtually non for multiple games. They sure cleaned them up

It may seem kind of obvious, but the Griz have the best WRs in the conference. I say it should be kind of obvious, because we all knew that coming into this season they were a strength, but I don't think we knew how good they would end up. Akem in particular played his heart out. I may be wrong, but it seems like we didn't get the ball to our studs as much in the second half. Is this OC play calling or adjustments by the opposing defense, both, or something else? Too many three and outs in the second half of games.
