Ok folks only a week away lets talk about the BSC Tournament.

Favorites are Montana and Wsu.
Who are your dark horses?? (ewu could get hot for a few games)
Which team scares you for one game?? (msu if they are shooting lights out from three)
Who do you have in the championship game?

Realistically I think there are 5 teams that can win it, UM, WSU, EWU, Idaho, and UND. Not sold on ISU just yet...

Obviously UM and Weber are the favs but if Bolomboy is hurt that changes the game for Weber.

EWU can get hot and beat anyone so ya never know.

As far as sleepers...IDAHO...besides their loss in Cheney, every other loss they have is by 3 points or less. They played most of the conference season without their 2 best players and they are back now. Don't sleep on the Vandals, they are a good team, who is finally healthy...

Great point marceagle, the vandals have been quietly going along having a nice season.

Dark horse is MSU
Team that scares me the most is MSU
I have MSU VS. another team in the Championship

Is anybody other then walkon79 and his 400 friends gonna be at the Tournament???
I'm really looking forward to getting to Reno and catch some BSC hoops.

I laughed. Well done, 66.

So you're the one!

Griz v. Weber in title game.

Dark horse is Idaho.

Team I don't want to play in the Semi's: Eastern.

I am everett, only because i'm 2.5hrs away and have not seen griz hoops live in more then a decade!
Otherwise I agree that Reno is a poor choice for the Tournament and still think the reg season champ should go to the dig dance.
I hope we are all wrong and crowds are great and it turns into a big deal.

I will be there as well (as of right now). Tickets purchased to all sessions for both men and women's.

The lady griz will be hard pressed to win a game. One and done. They shoot terrible on the road. I'm beginning to wonder if Selvig is loosing some of his recruiting glory. If the men hit some threes then they can win it. If Weber is at full strength they take it. Rahe is the best coach in the sky.

Meh, the LG did just have a 7 game win streak. And as they are the 5 seed they will likely get SUU (or PSU or NAU) as the 12th seed. All should be more than favorable games for the LG, so they should get at least one win. Wednesday, hopefully they can avoid Idaho (inconsistent but definitely the best women's team this year) and North Dakota (their size and physical play is not a good matchup for UM). As of now, though, UND is the 4 seed and would likely play UM on Wednesday.

The LG won both the regular season and the tournament last year. I think it's a little early to be writing Robin's obit just yet.

And while I like Rahe, Tinks owned him, and I certainly wouldn't trade Travis for him. Frankly, I'd make the Griz a slight favorite going into the tournament.

Bolomboy's loss is huge. Idaho killed them on the boards without Bolomboy. GRIZ and Weber State are always so very close. I will never under sell a Rahe coached Weber State. I also would not trade Travis for Rahe. Each are terrific coaches in this conference.

They actually had Bolomboy for the game against Idaho and still got destroyed on the boards 50-30. Bolomboy had 16 points and 9 rebounds in 34 minutes. Idaho had 20 offensive rebounds which made up for them shooting only 29.3% from the field. Weber didn't do themselves any favors at the FT line either shooting only 52% from the line.

EWU kicked their own ass at the FT line too tonight against ISU, going 9-19. Jois was 1-10 with many of them being missed front ends of a 1 and 1.

Also I totally agree, wouldn't trade Travis for Rahe, but do think Rahe is a very good coach.

Things are a little rough on the weber board, but I guess that's to be expected when you watch your team get out boarded by TWENTY. Holy hell. That's a season's worth of differential. And to give up 20 on the offensive end?? Idaho shot like 27% for the game. But when you're getting 4 shots a trip....

Okay based on their loss to ISU today, I don't know how Ewoo could overtake them for fourth. Since ISU has a one game lead and they only played once, it would seem as if ISU has the tie break. But the BSC website doesn't show them as having clinched a top four seed.

It will be interesting to see which team shoots well In an arena they have never played in. Travis is a good coach but Rahe has a body of work that goes 9 years in the sky and is the winingest coach. Also he does pretty well in post season.

I was on the road and could not follow anything on the computer. I was lucky to get the GRIZ game on the radio. I am surprised Bolomboy was able to return so soon from that injury. I wonder if he is still a little injured? Normally a bone bruise takes 3 to 4 weeks to heel properly.
