Touchback?

Anyone know the rule on the punt where the Bobcat player was in the end zone and knocked the ball out to the two yard line. I thought if he was in the end zone and touched it, it was a touchback?!

In college the ball can't break the plane of the endzone or it's a touchback, that's it.

It's the NFL that you see the players diving into the endzone (because they can't be IN the endzone) to bat the ball back into play and prevent it from touching the ground in the endzone.

I think if the ball crosses the goal line, even if it does not touch the ground, it should be a touchback. From what I saw, the ball was clearly past the goal line when he knocked it back to the 1 yard line

In my second post, yes I did say that. I did not say that in my first post as you said I did though. But at no time was I blaming the referees for losing the game. I was simply responding to the OP
