PlayerRep said:Excuse me, but on 2/19, the second to last game she played, Hill was 5-7 from the field (71%), 4-6 from 3 point range and 2-2 on free throws. She hit three 3's in the last 5 minutes. She won the game for the Griz. That's lighting it up. BrizBB, you either have a short memory or no memory.
GrizBBIsKingNo I don't. I know about that week. she was 1 - 9 in two games the week before that game. she was 2 - 8 in two games the week before that. She was 1 - 4 against PSU. So said:You are either stupid or biased. You are looking at her 3 point stats. In Feburary, she was 6-11, 4-5, 2-12, 0-6, 5-7 and 1-4 from the field. That's 18-45, or 40%, I believe. Hill and Nelson are 36.7% and 35.5 for the season, by comparison.

Wow, you must be stupid. Your stats are actually making my point. There is nothing there that would indicate Hill would have made a difference in the game against EWU. So what if I just chose 3 point stats or what. Hill is 36.7% from the field which isn't exactly great, not lousy. Hill is 38.2% from 3 point line for the season which Sonya Rogers had a 38.9% 3 pt percentage her freshman season.
But, the point of all this was whether Hill would have made a difference. Not exactly so. Maybe she would have but maybe she wouldn't have. You can speculate all you want.

But seriously, that's a huge shame for Torry.A torn ACL last year with Anaconda, and now a broken ankle as a freshman at UM. Dammit, I feel bad for her...I really hope she can stay healthy next year.

Look, I was never trying to discuss or debate with you whether Hill would have made a difference against EWU. I made my comment in the first post of this thread. I just wanted you to quit providing false statements and false stats regarding HIll. First, you said HIll had shot poorly in the past several games--despite her having had a terrific shooting night in her second to the last game. Then, you provided incorrect shooting stats for her. You are welcome to your opinion, but you are not welcome to make up your stats. Why can't you just admit you goofed up (or lied or about) her shooting stats in those two posts? And what's the point of your continuing to debate a point that no one is discussing or debating with you?
Jeez, she has the misfortunate to break her ankle and she will be missed by the team, and you want to provide incorrect info about her shooting?

I have acknowkledged I left out the game against ISU in an earlier post. That is my goof. The post was re-edited so you may have missed.
but none of my stats are innaccurate. I may have combined stats from two different games, but they are not false.

Hill is 6th in the conference in 3-pt accuracy. Selvig said alot of positive things about her play and scoring in the Missoulian article today. The article referred to her as a "sharpshooter". I thought she had been one of the top players for the Lady Griz this season.
Okay back to the stats. How do you explain your stats to the real stats? I'd like your explanation. First, I'll post what you said. Then, I'll post her shooting stats game by game for February.
"1 - 9 in two games the week before that game. she was 2 - 8 in two games the week before that."
In Feburary, she was 6-11, 4-5, 2-12, 0-6, 5-7 and 1-4 from the field.
How do you come up with 1-9 in one week and 2-8 in another week? Again, the answer may lie in the fact that you used her 3-pt stats, nor her shooting stats. Anyway, I'd enjoy seeing your explanation.

Guess I am one of those guys that do not grade on a curve.
