Torrey Pines in Vegas

R.T. O'Sullivan's In Mesa is a fun place to watch Griz games. It's walls are covered in big screen T.V.s . There are a lot of booths that have individual TV's. Great atmosphere with great food and large servings. They also have an outside patio with TV's for smokers.
Lots of Griz fans. Don't know how many Cat fans will show up this week-end.
Went to Torry Pines once so it is off my bucket list.
It was fun but so many people it was difficult to see the game over them.
Food was good but was difficult to get waited on by a server.
A lot of talking, more of a social atmosphere. I like to listen and watch the game.
I don't think a lot of the people were football fans. Just the place to be.

Shout out to Cassidy's Bar in Plentywood, Montana!!!!! Great people, buckets of beer, halftime potluck and closest place to my home to watch the GRIZ.

In the LA area, for younger people, the Culver City place is ok but dark and kinda dreary. For old guys like me, the Beerhunter in Palm Springs (La Quinta) is preferable And, these days, the casino action and night life in the Desert is a great alternative to Vegas with less hassle and better weather. But, it is for the over 50 crowd, decidedly.

I have been to two Griz games at Torrey Pines, one was a Griz/Cat game. It should be on every Griz fans bucket list. A lot of fun. Little too crowded but the tv in the parking lot was pretty cool. This is not just a meeting place for fans to gather and watch the game, it is a true Griz bar.

I was there for the app state game this year and there were lots of griz fans and lots of tvs.....not fancy , but very griz....best griz bar I have ever been to....the guy on the mike keeps everyone in the game as well...

I went there for the PSU Game. Duke's is 100 times better. Torrey isn't even a sports bar. It's a dark little dive bar with one TV. I'm sure Cat Griz there is fun but nothing like Dukes

What is Duke's? Is this also a sports bar in Vegas where Griz fans frequent? If so, would be interested in checking it out...

Dukes is in Scottsdale, AZ. ENTIRE bar (including about 50 TV's) is dedicated to Griz/'scat.

Owner (Al) is from Butte...

Wow... sounds cool. Never been to Scottsdale but would love to check that place out.

Are you sure you were not at the Blue Oyster Bar?

Currently (according to their website), Torrey Pines Pub has 17 televisions (fifteen 32inch, one 60inch, and one 73inch).
I was most definately at Torrey Pines. That's hilarious their website says that. There were literally two TV's now that I remember. A big one with the Griz game and then a little one next to it that the were trying to stream the Bobcat game on. Maybe there was one in the casino. Anyways we all had action on other college football games and weren't able to watch any of them. Good food, nice guy who owns it he keeps everyone in the game on his mic the whole time.

Duke's in Scottsdale blows it comploetely out of the water. That has to be the best Griz bar in the country outside of Montana.

Don't know Dukes. Will take your word for it that it's great. Your recollection of Torrey Pines Pub is faulty -- you must have been somewhere else. I've been going to TPP regularly for years--and for more than Cat/Griz--and nothing you have written is remotely the case.

Yeah, no. You either weren't at TP, or you had one hell of a night before. :o

Dukes is great. So is Sluggers in Kirkland. But I've been to a game at TP, and outside of WaGriz, it's the best experience there is. And they have a lot of TVs.

RT O'Sullivans, Mesa, AZ, website photo. It was taken from the front of the room where we were watching the Panhandle State game on the big screens. I'm in the center with a black Griz hat. Guy in the blue shirt is from Terry, Montana. I'm the coordinator for Saturday's Griz-Cat Party there.

Nope, was for sure there. Just went on their website and you can even see in their photos how they don't have many TV's and how little the place is. They had a deal where you take shots off of a ski and they play music you hear in Washington Grizzly. Not even close to as good as Dukes. Agree to disagree

Lol AND there is literally a picture of me and 3 of my friends on their website in the Portland State photo gallery
