After looking, I thought it difficult even with the loss for Maine to drop very far because they were the outright Champs of the CAA

Coastal Carolina...Hmmmn. That could be a bad matchup for the Griz...Those guys put up some big passing numbers....But!!! we have seen how well high powered offenses do in Missoula during the playoffs in the past...I think of SFA a few years back 7 turnovers. Even going back..to the early part of the 000's some prolific offenses that eat a big donut come playoff time @ WGS....

Based on how the season played out, I was expecting the GRIZ to get a 5,6, or 7 seed. I am disappointed in the selection committee giving them 8. However, if anyone told me before the season started, the GRIZ would be a top 8 seed, I would have been elated. I expected the GRIZ to be 10-2 or 9-3 and hosting a 1st round game.

Thankfully the team did exceed my expectations. I do believe this team is better than an 8 seed based on the defense stepping it up of late. Also I am further encouraged by the offense showing we can still spread teams out as well, and do it well.

Hard to bitch about this. Missoula has playoff football again!!!!!!!
