because while it was a win, it was sloppy, with many many mistakes made in all facets. And instead of cleaning it up to face "the best team we've played yet" (bobby's own words), they instead looked like they saw NOTHING wrong with the way they played two weeks ago and rolled out that same, shitty, sloppy gameplan saturday.
They roll that weak shit out there the rest of the season and they may not win another game.
I don't see how a sloppy shitty game plan caused all of these things. I'm not defending game plan or schemes in particular, as I don't really know what the game plan or schemes were.
But I don't think game plan caused: 2 picks in the 4th on shorter quick passes, a number of missed of throws to open receivers, several drops by receivers, a dropped snap by the punter for safety, the inability to handle an onside kick, a dropped snap by the QB, a fumbled read handoff by qb/rb, a low short lateral from a back to the qb, apparently 2 players biting for a run and leaving a receiver wide open, a TD reception for a covered receiver when the corner was right there, a bad call by a ref on for a late hit on the qb, the qb not recognizing open check-down flare passes, a missed extra point that was kicked way too low.
Yes, Idaho completed too many passes. That could have been scheme or execution, or both.
The backs didn't fumble and got some decent yardage, on their few carries. Yes, also got nailed quickly a few times.
The team seemed to play hard, especially the D. I didn't notice a bunch of missed tackles.
While not defending game plan, scheme, or play-calling, I still believe the bulk of the problem came from way too many mistakes. And Hauck has said that he should have had the team better prepared to play well.
