Anyone who watched the Griz all year could tell you that loss was not an accurate portrayal of their overall season.

As a Cat fan I totally agree with this, but would the Cats be above the griz? And if they are, are they below Weber, who you beat? And if they aren't, is Sac above both, but behind Weber? And if that happens, where do the Cats and griz land...

I think you could arrange any of the 4 bsc teams 4-7 and it would be justified. But recency bias is real and the griz got their asses kicked by MSU today. But kicked Weber’s ass last week. It wouldn’t surprise me if it went Sac3 MSU4 Montana5 Weber6. Or switch Montana and Weber. Just because there four really good bsc teams you can’t just say oh we can’t have 4 teams.

Probably going to use a magic 8 ball for the 3-8 seeds

People do realize that Weber and Sac are conference co-champs and Weber beat Sac. I see no scenario that UM or MSU are seeded in front of either, and expect Weber to be the highest BSC seed.

All I know is I swear to god if UNI get a seed over any of those teams I’m losing my shit.

Yup. As long as they have some ‘leverage’ on the seeding folk...they’ll still be in the mix. An 0-11 uni still gets votes!

Weber will be #3 (head to head)
Sac will be #4
# 5 Nova
Cats (I'm thinking the Cats #6) bracket w/Weber haven't played yet

# 7 SDSU
# 8 Griz

N Iowa losing to SDSU, and Weber probably puts them out in my opinion.

But...Will the committee give 4 Big Sky teams seeds? That is the real question... And if they dont, then who is left out? At this point, it can't be the Cats because of today, but it cant be the griz because of last weeks win...

Griz would be out in my opinion, last games are always freshest in their minds.

That’s what I’m saying. You can’t ask the question oh should this conference get 4. It should be just give the top 8 teams seeds. If they’re all 8 from on conference so be it.

I don't disagree, but you know that you are going to see a team get seeded and say WTF.

Yeah probably UNI because they got nudes.

This goes against the grain but on a serious question.

Are the Griz better off not being seeded and getting a powder puff tune up game next week to get the stink off of this one and have some momentum moving forward?

I get it’s a little risky because you don’t know exactly where they would land in the bracket.

Not sure it really matters other than being unseeded makes you play an additional game if you run the table.

I would say the ankles for a few dudes vote no.

Gonna have to throw out some head-to-head stuff.

I think it'll be:

- Sac
- MSU
- Weber
- Griz

Not sure what seed, exactly.

I think with Weber being the AQ and owning a win over Sac, they will be the top BSC seed, then Sac and then MSU, and Griz last if they get one.
See, this is why this has no good answer.

Either getting blown out as the #3 team on the road to a top 10 school means a team deserves to drop like a rock, or it doesn't.

Head to head results should determine the seeding order, or it shouldn't.

I fully expect us to be at the bottom of the queue for seeding, but you swap out a game on WSU and MSU's schedule for a match between them, and suddenly one of them isn't seeded anymore.

If you really went by head-to-head, it should be:

Sac 2-1 (against the others)
MSU 1-1
Weber 1-1
Griz 1-2

Which is how I worked it out.
