Watching Wazzu play Stanford. Miller is one of the best players on the floor. Imagine how good we’d be with him.

He won’t regret it, ask any player in the world whether they’d like to play in the Pac 12 or the Big Sky and you’ll always get the same answer.

And then ask the same player if they’d rather sit at home after losing 15 or more games or be playing post season basketball against the best teams in the world after winning 20+ regular season games that is a team that just so happened to beat WSU in a not so secret “secret” scrimmage, and you get a different one. Who cares about playing P12 ball when you get a whooping most times you step onto the floor.

Ok you’re clueless — the Montana basketball experience is good, I get that. Real athletes aren’t as enamored with the Big Dance as you might be led to believe. The Pac 12 is big boy basketball.

Would you rather play 15 minutes a night for UW and score 7 ppg or 35 minutes a night for Montana and score 20?

I know my answer.

No question we'd be better, could have brought the youngsters up to speed more slowly. He would have become a team leader and offensive focus next year as well. In the long run the freshmen are getting more experience and we are doing ok so good luck to Mr. Miller.

What was Miller doing that caused him to be supposedly required by the coach to live in a dorm?

Looking at at some of choices presented above are interesting. My (old school) reaction is that I'd rather be at a school that I liked and in an athletic program that I liked, going to school with and playing with people (coaches) whom I liked. Coming off the bench would be a bit of a negative. Personally, I wouldn't transfer away from my friends or school (if I liked it) to from either one of the choices.

Just remember the Griz have benefited from transfers also. Of course, the PAC 12 is better. But there has been a big difference between Washington State the last 10 years and the upper echelon PAC 12 schools. This year they lost to Omaha, last year to Bobcats and the year before that got thumped by Idaho. So not a HUGE difference between Cougs and Griz in hoops. I would say the Griz were better the last two years. The Cougs have dropped dramatically since the Tony Bennett and Klay Thompson years.
