Bobby was pretty circumspect but is obviously not happy about fall football being cancelled. Kent said they are not planning on playing any non-conference games this fall. Lots of unanswered questions still.

they know what Montana weather is like.....it would be miserable getting ready outdoors for a season in early spring (aka late winter)

Do you mean like late November/December? Really nice then.

Man Akem is impossible not to like.

I feel bad for all the kids, highschool and college.

If I was 100% sure spring football was going to happen I’d have no doubt they could pull it off just fine. But like everyone else I’ve been watching this unfold for almost 6 months now and I have very little faith that we’re going to be in a much better spot in 5-6 months from now. The virus will still be here, people will still be dying, people will still be scared, and we’ll still be told it’s dangerous and selfish to even WANT to go to a football game.

They should have just cancelled to next season and not gotten these kids hopes up.

If they can somehow pull it off, and not panic the masses, I’ll fully embrace spring football!

100% agree, especially about Sammy. He's my favorite player and a fine young man.

Well, watch P5 football carefully....let’s see how that plays out. That’ll be a huge indicator.

An amazing personality, smart, engaging, fun-loving, a leader by example. Did we mention he's a hell of a WR? Want to see him play again, healthy.

What do you think Bobby was suggesting when he said he didn’t wanna talk about spring ball as he had his “strong opinions” but wanted to make sure he was right before he commented?

Curious his thoughts on this entire mess.

Bobby has learned to hold his tongue better, but I think it's pretty obvious that he is not on board with this decision. In my own opinion, I think a spring season is going to be extremely difficult if not impossible, and I think that's probably Bobby's feelings on the subject as well. When asked if he thought this was the right decision, he refused to answer. While it is true that his opinion doesn't matter because it's already decided, I am confident that if he had agreed with it he no doubt would have said so.

That makes sense. That’s my thought as well. It won’t be any more PC to play this spring as it is right now and the virus will still be around.

He had his team ready and they are loaded. Heartbreaker for him.

A.D. mentioned eligibility will be extended for next year, but that doesn't make sense. You have new incoming Freshmen that will be on scholarship in '21. That's backloading on scholarships. Wouldn't it be the case that Seniors lose their season? I do agree with some who have stated a spring season is unlikely too.

I watched the whole thing and did not hear Haslam say that. That is likely only if there is no spring season. A spring season will consume the 2020 eligibility for all that play.

Agreed. Just crappy for everyone concerned.

I believe the NCAA would allow more scholarships for 1 year if no spring season.
