if he is a hitter (like you would expect because they put him there), with his speed and size he should be a good special teams guy....

All I can say is I'm thrilled the kid was willing to give something else a shot rather than languish on the bench for two more years. Because THAT'S what he would have done as a QB.

If none of you pencil necks will say the obvious....... then o'l Richard Cranium will! TM, was moved to safety to get him to move on. I don't think it's cool to do that to a kid, but I see it for what it is. Like many FBS players who have great skills and see that they will never start on a team that they are with, they move to play with teams they can. The time they leave is after spring classes are over. This coaching staff is giving TM to walk on his own. I don't like it.

Possible, but he certainly wasn't going to play at QB, so SOME position change was inevitable if he ever wants to see the field.
