Tinks and HIS Griz playing well at the right time!

There has been a lot of talk over the course of this season that Tinks may or may not have been the right hire for this team. Put that talk to rest. The Griz defeated the Cats in every phase of the game tonight and Wayne and his staff deserve a lot of credit for getting this team to perform so well without Straight. I think that the Griz really showed their depth tonight and, with Straight coming back down the stretch, I'm excited to see the Griz make a run at the Conference championship! Great job Griz!!! I agree. Strait made the trip but was unable to go so the rest of the team stepped up. Tinks had a great gameplan and for the most part the Griz executed it. The times they got out of sync, Tinks was quick to call a TO and get them back in rhythm. His substitutions were very good as well. The bench was a big reason the Griz got that win. Anyone who thinks you can go with 7 guys is nuts. If they had done that, the Griz would have been down to 6 guys with the loss of Strait. Cats lack of depth showed as they tired down the stretch and missed FT's they normally make.

Huse gave credit where credit is due after the game. He credited the Griz for being physical and taking it to the cats.

I have not seen the griz that focused yet this year. They seem to play smarter on the road, which is nice. I was really surprised by the contrast from Wednesday night when they looked a bunch of lazy turds.

I resent your last comment. :naughty:

Maybe Tinks should take a page from the Kramer play book and start spending the night before home games in Lolo. Joe Glenn told me that there is a great movie theater there....

the griz looked good...very good

i hope you enjoy your trip to the ncaas this year..

fwiw seemed like Carson Durr (20) vs. Hasquet (2) was the battle of two people that should get a haircut

Yikes! A little early for that kind of talk. Are you purposely trying to jinks the Griz, Hells?? :thumb:

yes... :laugh:

<kidding over>

actually from what i have seen nobody in the bsc should stop you from the parimiter.

Rumor has it (a very LOUD rumor) that Tinks climbed all over them in the huddle on Wednesday night. F bombs and everything, and it got their attention. This is from a person who sits behind the bench. Said there has been a noticable increase of Tinks' vocalness at his players in the past couple of weeks.

Looks like they are responding. Great win over the Cats.
