Tinkle's Role with New Staff

I am curious about Wayne Tinkle's role with this new staff. It seemed with Kennedy that Wayne was a lot more active in coaching and was the "player's coach" on the staff. Tinlke looked like he was the guy that would try to always stay positive with the guys.

This year he appears to be a little more distant as opposed to last year.

I wonder if he is regretting taking the job as an assistant when he was in the running for the head coaching job.

Was Krysko "encouraged" to keep Tinkle on staff.

If you think wayne is "distant from the players show up an hour before game time, during the shoot around and you will see Wyane pulling players aside and having a personal discussion with a few players each game. I believe Wyane is very involved with the players and is very much liked by them.

Wayne IS very involved with the team. If you would ever attend a practice you might see his involvement. All head coaches use their assistants in different ways. During timeouts Wayne is very involved with Larry discussing strategy. Wayne will be a great coach somewhere some day. I hope it is at U of M. But I want to see Larry here for a long, long time.
