Tinkle to Stanford

If this is true I wish her the best. I am content she is on the west coast even though I wish it was in Missoula. I wonder who Robin will bring in now to fill that last schollie.
 
Good for her. Nothing wrong with leaving the hometown to go to college. If there were a college in my hometown, I certainly would have gone somewhere else for college. If that option were a free education at Stanford. Please.

Congrats to Joslyn. I wish her all the best. If she's smart enough to get into Stanford, then good for her.
 
the lady griz have not seen the last of joslyn. remember, the big sky champ almost automatically gets routed through maples every year, especially when we're a 16 seed.
 
Heck, Mandy signed a letter of intent to go to ASU. Look where she is at now. Lucky ASU let her off easy or Mandy wouldn't be playing this year. But, I figure Mandy's Grandfather having cancer helped in that matter. Actually I know it did because she said it was a factor in her coming back to Montana in a Q & A with her.
But, maybe something will come up (although I wouldn't wish something like cancer to make her come back here) and Jos will come here.

But, back to reality, I personally think she will like it better at Stanford. Get away from the parents. Good luck to her.
 
Congatulations to Joslyn! It would have been terrific for her to stay in Missoula, but her choice is both understandable and commendable. Continued success to her!

Joslyn had stated that she wanted to play where her family might see her from time to time. Plane connections to San Jose (Stanford) are not difficult and she's far more likely to show up on Fox NW at Stanford than if she had gone to Oklahoma or Georgia. If you figure she's seeking a higher level than the LG this wasn't a tough call. And the school ain't bad. My daughter enjoyed her four years on The Farm.
