Okay, wishful thinking, projecting good karma, whatever you want to call it, now is the time!

Come on Mr. Brown. The stage isn't too big. You can handle it. You are prepared. Let's go win this bugger!!!!!!!

The defense will hold up their end. We just need to keep the offense moving the ball and scoring.

Go Griz! :ugeek:

I expect Kris Brown to enter the transfer portal.

I hope he does, that would save Bobby the trouble of cutting him. I think he maybe ok somewhere else but I think he can handle being the starting qb for the Griz.

Fresh shit shines also.
Brown has been given so many chances to show his stuff. Maybe he has.
The question I had, after watching the JMU game, is WHY did it take the coaches until December 10 to figure out Patterson is better than Brown?
When I watch Brown play, I see another Adam Eastwood.

All respect to Kris, whom I believe has given it his all. The reality seems to be however that the speed of the game at this level is too much. We shall see, and I would love to eat crow on this (who doesn’t want a 6’4” 220 QB?), but I see him being the guy at a DII. He’s had the reps.

Again, I would love to be wrong about this.

I don't think it is as easy as "better". Patterson offers little in the passing game, but Brown has lost every bit of confidence he had over the season, which has made his struggles even more of an issue. The thing that made Patterson seem like a breath of fresh air yesterday is that he brought a level of confidence to the field and his ability to make something happen with his feet at lease gave you a hope he could break something.

Is that meant to imply that Brown offers more in the passing game? Patterson is “better.” That’s why he was taking the snaps.

It implies that both are very flawed, but Patterson with his legs at least gave them hope.

I haven’t seen enough of Patterson to know that he’s flawed. He’s a redshirt Sophomore, so we’ll see I guess, but I see more potential there than in #12. Just my opinion, not much body of work to reference.

Well, I can tell you that Patterson has a long way to go as a passer.

Brown's limitations as a passer are mostly in his mind.

Patterson's limitations are not.

I think a lot of Griz fans saw Patterson running and thought "Sneed 2.0!", but Sneed had a much bigger arm.

Agreed
