Time for Chalich to start

You are the one fabricating. I never claimed to have watched Ah Yat play football. You are so full of shit it's insane. It's no wonder you got banned. I remember now why I had you on ignore.
Eruil: Sorry. Not even close on this one. Edwards had the perfect situation and isn't even close to
Brady statistically. He had a better team, coach, and everything ended season 10-2 lost in 2nd round of playoffs. About where our team is going to be looking. Can't find out where he landed on the Walter Payton but let's be real. Gus leads in every statistical category on this one with a worse team and coach. Obviously never really sniffed the NFL.

Ah Yat is hard to argue seeing as he won a chipper.
Eruil: P.S. I started watching in 2002 so I did not watch the whole season with Ah yat so yah... can't argue about him. The others I can tho.
And you got caught.
Raider:
Again, huh?

You started watching in 2002, so you “didn’t watch the whole season with Ah Yat”. That makes no sense. Are you aware that Ah Yat’s last year was 1998?

If you started watching in 2002, then you’d be aware that the Griz won the 2001 Championship with John Edwards. You make no mention of that for some reason. Ya know, that guy that isn’t even close to Gus? That guy that was the 2002 Big Sky Offensive MVP and finished in the top 5 voting for the Walter Payton award?

Sorry, I think you are just making shit up and trying to back fill it with information you are looking up on the internet.

When do I claim I watched ah yat?

I'll wait

I clearly state I did not watch the whole season with ah yat...

If you are misunderstanding that sentence then I implore you to go back to school and take English class again.

So if this part of the article indicates that Chalich does know the offense well and can, and did, execute, and he is showing well in practice, then that might chance my view a bit.

"Stitt applauded Chalich for similar reasons Saturday night. “Having Chad been in our offense for two years now he knows it like the back of his hand,” Sitt said. “He can go in and he made an unbelievable amount of checks.”

Then, his good late showing against SS combined with his very nice full game against ISU (yes, weak defense), may mean that he deserves more consideration than I had assumed. At the very least, if BG were to struggle in a game that UM needs to win (and we need to win them all now), then perhaps Chalich is a good option. I know he's an option, but if he's on top of the offense and showing he can make good decisions, maybe he's a good earlier option. I had assumed that he didn't have as good of a handle on the offense as BG did.

Well, she didn't say she watched "only part of the season" with Ah Yat".

Do she mean: "I didn't watch a season with Ah Yat", or "I didn't watch Ah Yat"?

I'm not sure why she would say she didn't starting watching football until 2002, and then say she only watched him part of the season that year.

I just assumed that Grizzoola was to new of a Griz fan to remember when it was common to see Griz opponents score points like that.
Look, HHB, I was a student at then MSU when its football team was a doormat. Don't preach to me re: UM's having seasons when other teams scored big. I suppose someone could cite games during the glory yrs. of UM, when the team got blown out. I think a Weber road game during Hauck's tenure would qualify.

In no way am I calling for Stitt's scalp, or discounting Semore as a defensive talent. Why UM is now 19th in FCS standings and sharing 6th w/ UNC in the BSC are mysteries to me. I will add that only the building of WaGriz fueled UM's rise as a football power, but somehow, EWU, with nearly no comparable facility, still leads in the FCS & BSC standings.

BG looked fine to me while he warming up. BG does have a better deep ball, but Chalich was seeing the whole field better than BG has been. Chalich will get the start at N.C., bank on it!

What games have you been watching?

This. What, past 20 yards, has Gus hit downfield in the last 5 games?
Three receivers against EWU, right in the hands...

First, I never said anything about Montana getting blown out. What I did reference is that teams have scored in the 30's and even 40's against the Griz before. It is not a new thing. Secondly, Montana is currently ranked in the late teens, and are where they are in the Conference because that is the type of team they are...above average. I will also add, that Griz fans continue to over estimate advantages they have over other BSC schools when it comes to recruiting. So many things factor into what a kid might do, that having the biggest stadium just isn't the major draw some like to believe.

The best part of Chalich being in there, sitting in the NEZ, was I didn't have to see a quarterback with a nervous tick lick his fingers before every play, plastered on the Jumbotron in real time or replays.

Right; hiring Don Read had nothing to do with it.
I didn't infer anything re: DR. Seems WaGriz & he both appeared on UM scene in 1986. I do believe WaGriz made it possible to attract more talented recruits, coaches, and yes, even fans. "You build it, they will come." It took a few yrs. until DR & the Griz made it a habit of getting to the playoffs & I'm not convinced WaGriz did not have a lot to do w/ it. I'm not taking anything away from Don Read.

True secondary is easily weak. That's how ewu, calpoly and ISU stayed in the game. Somthing needs to change asap or atleast by next year. It is getting out of hand.
