Colt Anderson, Keith Thompson and Shann Schillenger. That is a secondary that can tackle. Wow.

You know it!! I liked how they'd swarm the ball and there wasnt many plays that fooled them. Seems like lately the Griz focus on turnovers, witch is great, but when Tripp is tryin to rip the ball out on every play it looked like he was starting a broke down lawn mower or simething. What ever happen to beating up a reciever on the line instead of letting him eat up the cushion and take off at a dead sprint and score then the Griz play catch up?? I dont like that. I'd rather see an ass kicking instead of an OT game.

But isn't it hypocritical for you to criticize me on criticizing?

not if you started it!

honestly, it seems like you are the one who needs to relax.

Yah... sure. Hypocrisy is totally fine as long as you perceived the other person "started it."

I'm honestly fine I'm not the one crying because we lost 3 games

Holy shit I couldn't even get past the first like 8 posts. You guys are WAY too pessimistic. A 10-3 season is fine. We JUST overhauled not too long a go and that's why we're not racking off straight BS champs every year.

We had some close wins, sure. We also had some close losses. To the person who said, "Coulda woulda shoulda won those games." Also is ignoring that we COULDA WOULDA SHOULDA won some other close games.

You're all f***[*] spoiled from not losing for like 5 years. We can't be like NDSU every year. Our team is good and just because we lost in the first round to a good team doesn't mean a WHOLE lot.

Relax and just enjoy the ride. Your pessimistic attitude brings negativity to the Griz.
That is precisely what I did NOT say!! I said, "Woulda, coulda, shoulda never won any games!"

Except we did win some games in close calls which comes to "coulda woulda shoulda." Point being is that there were A LOT of close games, some we won some we lost. Not a big deal. We only got blown out once this year and no one is making excuses for the loss just saying to people to enjoy the 10-3. Some programs would give up a LOT more than what we give up to get that record.
Eriul...you are exactly what is WRONG with some of the current fan base. To have and MAINTAIN a top program the standards have to be at the absolute highest mark at ALL times. NOT 17,400 fans at our home playoff game that wasn't on the Thanksgiving day weekend. I was TOTALLY humiliated at the showing of our "loyal" fans. I knew we had a pile of "pussies" in our fan base, but that attendance # confirms it. Soft on attendance ...soft on standards... soft on expectations... SET YOUR SIGHTS LOW and DON'T WORRY ABOUT BEING DISAPPOINTED!!...enablers, the progressive way...right?? Let's keep it current. CCU takes us out in our loud, cold stadium. Coach Moglia says he did it with retention of "body heat", and "chicken soup" administered at halftime    Our coach...(a coach of the year candidate... ) says " I didn't prepare our team to play today". CCU goes to NDSU and has their head handed to them on a platter...(I'll take that raw) I KNEW we were toast when the geriatric coach changed the offense to something that JJ has never run. Do I need a second example :?: :?: :?: When was your first clue?? :egriz: You can enjoy the 10-3..

I was reading yesterday that the Grizzly football program posted the most wins for any college football program from 2000-2010 at 119 and was 3rd on that list from 1990-1999 with 103 I think it said. (Sorry I was reading it on the iphone while traveling and didn't bookmark the page.)

I respect every-bodies point of view on here, but I think everybody also just needs to relax a little bit. (Are we becoming like Texas?) The last few years saw a lot drama that shook things up and it could have been worse and could have been better, but it is what it is. Delaney will be done for sure after next year. The guy was pulled out of retirement to coach the program and I never agreed with that move. So as long as the program doesn't have a 2-6 win season I think everything will fine as long as somebody with a connection to the Read coaching tree is hired. Hopefully a 2-6 win season doesn't happen, but if it does then I can see an alarming concern justified.

I'm sorry I honestly couldn't take you seriously after your first sentence where you said i am what's wrong with the fan base. If you don't appreciate a 10-3 season with a playoff appearance 1 year after we only won 5 then you have unrealistic expectations and you can enjoy being disappointed and upset at our team every year. 20 years from now you'll look back on the griz and say, "those were the good ole days." And be overwhelmed and saddened with nostalgic thoughts
