Tim Tebow on Campus

I seen Tim last night in Great Falls. He did a great job as a speaker. It was a question and answer deal. The kids from the foothills christian school would ask questions and Tim would respond with stories of his own life.
Quite interesting. I feel the best one was the first kid.
Little boy and I mean little, gets on stage and says his name and grade and then asks. Tim I want to be a Montana Grizzly when I grow up do you have any sugestions for me to make the team. The crownd went nuts LOL

Pro defenses adjust for both these guys, but they do show determination, despite others pointing out their flaws, and succeed. This is what fans, esp. kids, admire. True sports heroes, whatever the cynics think & say. Pro sports has become so technical that heroes are unheard of, anymore.
BTW, I'm not so sure another QB is going to replace Tebow so easily. Unlike last year, he'll have a full summer of prep & instruction, not to mention his experience. As far as Elway being some kind of guru, it was really Terrell Davis that won those Super Bowls. I lived near Denver when Elway was QB; the press was on his ass many times, and he deserved it. But, I guess happening to be the QB of a team winning the Super Bowl gets you into the Hall of Fame.

People believe what the media tells them to believe. Is he a good person, yeah someone to be looked up to but so are teachers and cops but all I see about them in the media is how they are all perverts and dirty cops. What I really want to know is...if he stopped in the middle of the 3rd quarter and rolled out his rug to praise allah if everyone would feel the same. I watch football to watch football not for church time that is earlier on sunday morning. As far as Elway is concerned...as a Raider fan I hate him but if you are honestly saying the backup quarterback would have won because the only player on that team responsible for the win is Davis you are high as hell. As far as no one being able to replace tebow easily...wonder how the meeting with manning went the other dayGrizzoola said:

I have a good idea that Tebow will be elsewhere, or back up in Denver. Manning meeting with Denver was terrific. :thumb:
Tebow won over a lot of Butte fans at the Butte Civic Center...a lot of fans commented on how humble and appreciative he is.
After the Civic Center speaking engagement, Tebow attended a private meet-and-greet (that raised more more money for Habitat for Hummanity) at the Butte Montana Club restaurant. Everyone was expecting him to come through the back door, but he walked through the front door to everyones suprise. After the private fundraiser (paid meet-and-greet), he walked into the public dining areas and talked with everyone.
