TikTok

The only thing tik tok violates are politicians. They don't want people grouping together because it's the only way to over throw a government that's fudge 99% of people. If you're gonna ban tik tok, you should probably ban all social media. Which is basically just trying to ban freedom of speech.

Is that a conspiracy theory?

Worst take ever lol 😆

This. Plus your data gets shared just about on anything with several foreign countries. People are clearly oblivious to this lmao

I was in senior management in a different industry about 20 years ago. I was amazed at the data that we could collect that was considered public information - much of which we would consider private information. Sources were wide ranging but at that time voter registration lists and sports licensing information was available in many states for a price. And that was before social media. There should be no presumption that any of your information is private - they already know, so this stunt over TikTok is nothing more than political.

The CCP has designs and capacities well beyond what you think.

They are assembling your "score" as we speak. So, the more you keep defending them - the better your score will be. At this point - you will be supervising the rest of us in a "camp" somewhere.

I'm no tiktoker, but I'am eager to see how Montana plans to enforce this ban. A state like California with a seventh of the U.S. population has the sway to change the way pollution controls are added to automobiles at the factory, but that's isn't who Montana is. You could download tiktok outside Austin Knudsen's office he and couldn't do damn thing about it.

Are you seriously comparing the pace of natural climate change during the ice age versus the pace at which we are changing the Earth's climate currently? Come on, you are an Ivy Leaguer. You're better than vapid.

What you call the pace is actually no different. Don't buy into the false narrative. I am, and work with scientists every day. The media manipulation, and the false narrative that leads to fear mongering is pathetic. Nature will compensate. Wasn't that long ago that everyone was worried about the ozone layer, plus just look at what happened in 1883.

Exactly, 100 percent spot on. It is so scary how the powers that be are manipulating all the sheep with all the fake “science” about how scary and dangerous a couple degree change is….. and if you don’t think it’s ALL about the almighty dollar, then you’re an idiot. Is the earth warming? Yes, slightly. Are humans causing it? Yes, partially, but only slightly. C02 is a good thing if you want a greener planet, and PR hit it on the head…. It beats the ——- out of an ice age.

that is an absurd leap by you, i said no such thing.

I know you've been well travelled, but have you ever been to Twin Falls, Idaho? The ramp Evel Knievel used for his Snake River 'leap' is still there. Now, THERE is an absurd leap. I like to put a visual reference to hyperbole.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_5LdesoNFpY

been stuck in twin falls more than once. probably not my favorite place on earth :)

It's not really a conspiracy. Mass amounts of teenage tik towers kept booking out Trump rallies, thinking he was going to have a packed stadium just to show up to basically nothing. You think politicians like that? Also there's numerous people on tik tok that are trying to get people together to stand up to the government. You must not use tik tok.

Don't tell greg but I did download that inside the capitol building.

I'm not one to get political or talk politics... but it's not just the Republicans who want to ban TikTok. Say what you want about it, but there are concerns with the platform that even Biden approved a TikTok ban for Federal Government employees. Let's not act like the Republicans are in the wrong when it's being banned at the federal level by the current powers in charge.

The Biden administration banned tiktok from government provided phones to protect government data. The state of Montana wants to outlaw ticktok on personal phones. Very Big Difference.

The U.S. has some of the worst data privacy laws in the developed world. Our privacy laws are so bad, the E.U. has fined the platform formerly known as Facebook $1.3 billion for exposing the data of E.U. users to the United States, where the privacy rules are terrible.

Nothing Montana has done will improve data privacy in a meaningful way. There isn't a politician alive who doesn't mine the crap out of your private information just to help him get elected. For example, Data Trust offers Republican clients a data base of 300 million voters with 2,500 data points per voter. There are similar data points for Democratic candidates.

There isn't much of our personal data that hasn't been seen, and sold and sold and sold again.

Except the CCP won't sell it - they will use it - relentlessly.
