Tickets for EWU vs. (Montana)

I've been trying to get 2 for 45 minutes - was told by ticket's west they had no more tickets...but kept trying on the website and finally just got 2 of them. I picked eastside instead of best available - not sure that made a difference???? But, DON"T give up!

I wanted 4 but I was able to buy one on the east side....there's got to be a better way to do this....
There is........don't play a DII school in the playoffs. They are not equipped for the big time.

Once again Alpha is spot on. I am going to bottle this wisdom and sell it to dumb asses to help them out in life. No it still won't help. Tampon turf and high school seats. Where is all the revenue going must be to the dentist.

Not equipped.... pretty sure EWU has more practice at this lately as this will be the 10th home playoff game EWU has hosted since 2010. How many has UM hosted in that time period?

Yeah, but you clearly fucking suck at it. Not a difficult concept.

The ncaa sets the minimum ticket price, which I think is equal to the lowest priced regular season game. There is no limit on how high the price can be.

We may have had more practice of late, but we didn't do anyone any favors by how the ticket situation was handled...for both fan bases...

Something is wrong with the ticket system as no one can get through. On the website it shows none are available at the $45 price level, and the prices aren't going to be $45. I'd keep checking as I'm sure they will figure it out eventually.

What are the prices for this game then, marceagfan?

We were able to buy our season tickets for $20/seat plus fees and they offered season ticket holders additional seats at this price, although they screwed up the system so no one was really able to buy extras. I can't imagine they can sell season ticket holder tickets at $26 and public at $45 when the prices are set by the NCAA.

I had to buy another ticket this morning and was able to get through after about 50 attempts and it cost $45 so just keep trying. But I can't imagine the $45 price will hold firm.

Yeah I thought $45 was way too much for a playoff game. I thought the NCAA required universities to sell playoff tickets at the lowest price from the regular season?

I'm not 100% on this but I think the requirement is you can't sell your playoff tickets for less than the lowest regular season seat. That's why ours were $35 despite a non-compelling matchup. I am actually amazed the U got 14,000 to that game, especially considering the lower attendance at other venues where people are paying $15 for a ticket.

Come to think of it...UM should get out of hamstringing themselves on the price by being creative and having a small section of season ticket seating available to "recent graduates" (e.g. shallow pockets) for $20 a seat/game plus a modest GSA donation. Then they could have more price flexibility for the early round playoff game.

Not to mention this will be the only of the ten that sells out (or even comes close). How sad is that?

Wow. I thought there would be a lot more tickets available. Good for EWU that they are getting support. I will be going to StudHub.

You can always watch the game from the upper railings if you can't find a ticket. You can see the entire field, it's free, and you can drink beer during the game. Not a bad option if you can't find an actual ticket.

Sounds like an even better option than getting a ticket!

Do some people do that? We can't find tickets and that will be our only option.

Just seen this on EWU athletic page on Facebook that if you stay at holiday inn you get 2 tickets to the game for booking a room with them. I don't know how to send the link but like I said its on the EWU Athletic FB page. Hope some of you get tickets. The more Griz fans the better. :thumb:

Yes, quite a few people actually do it. You'll Typically find anywhere from 50 to 100 people agame doing it, especially for the griz game.

Tried that one year (if we're thinking of the same spot) and the ESPN crew kicked me out.
