Tickets available for Quarter Final Game

YIKES - the amount of tickets available are a bit concerning. . . i know its a friday night game but it seems like for the quarterfinals, with a shot at hosting semi finals - shouldn't matter if its on a Friday - find a way to get to the game!!!
 
There's also a huge snafu going on with them doing the PINK early, double super secret, ticket sales at the same time as folks are trying to get football tickets. It's overloading their crappy computer system. The system is embarrassingly outdated and slow.
 
I logged into Griztix this morning after 9 and bought more tickets and had them emailed to me within 5 minutes. No problems whatsoever. I did notice a lot of seats remain.

My experience was extremely easy to buy tickets on griztix.com. I had no issues whatsoever. It looks like when I bought the they had way less seats available though. Now there is a lot more. My point is the process of buying tickets is working fine. But something is going on with the seats that weren't available then becoming available now.
 
Last QF game vs UNI only had 23,000+ announced. Seems like about par for the course. Stadium was rocking for that one.

We have this same convo every playoff game and the stadium is always rocking and full. We’ll be fine

Just need to crawl the GrizTix site to make captures of the zoomed out stadium that shows green dots and accessible seating icons. Then run those images through template that uses computer vision (one of the AI fields). Counts it up quite easily. A phone app that's free is "Count Things" and does exactly as the name implies.

I did a quick check of stadium ticket availability at approximately 6:30 p.m. Wednesday night and it looks like approximately 3000 tickets still available. I would guestimate over 22,000 tickets sold so far. Can anyone confirm how we are doing?

As of about 15 minutes ago, there are 4,117 'green dots' and 'accessible seating' on the GrizTix site. :thumb: Thanks AI. :thumb:

Update to this from a few minutes ago: 4,867 seats available. What gives? Welp, as many people pointed out -- the GrizTix site was not showing lots of East/West seats last night (the site clearly is not working consistently). It's showing those as available tonight :evil:

Yeah, it’s definitely changing periodically…don’t know if they’re releasing sections/chunks at a time or what. But if this is even remotely accurate that means there’s already 20,000 sold, which is decent. Still have all day tomorrow…would really love to see it get above 22,000. Give Furman the “full” Montana experience…

Yeah-- agreed. I'll check it again a few hours before the game and see how this matches up (or not at all) with the announced attendance. 20k sold would be good given the Fri. night timeframe... "Give Furman the “full” Montana experience…". <---- I hope so!!
 
I, too, did the “green dot” count and think the 4800 seats available is a good estimate. I’m thinking about 1000 more will be sold so we’ll have around the 21500 to 22000 butts in the seats with Griz fans who want to be there.
I’m sure with furman piping music into their open end zone stadium the fans won’t be noticed. :lol:

I bought tickets for a couple and I’m not overly impressed that there are seats 22 rows closer available now.
