Thurs: WSU at UM

Tinks getting schooled. Rahe is the real deal. Wayne set some screens inside to free somebody up. It's just packed in there.
I hate this bombs away game.

No kidding. I hope it doesn't turn out to be a panic and shoot 3 type game. Kinda seems like it will at this point. Weeeeber can't miss.
 
#1. Tinks is getting out coached in a BIG way so far.... lets hope he makes some good adjustments.... I think he will.... also Weber is very well coached as pointed out earlier
#2. We need a 3rd option to step up offensively.... Stauds cannot buy a bucket...
#3. In my very biased opinion we are getting absolutely screwed by the officials at home that travel non call was unreal
#4. The crowd needs to get off of their hands.... looks like a good amount of people showed up... but it sounds like a highschool game listening to the broadcast....

Lets get a couple buckets right before half and get some MO' on our side and then have the crowd turn up the volume for the second half.... the shots will start falling for us.... GO GRIZ!!!!
 
Nice little run, but a hoop at the end would have been helpful. At least the crowd is into it now.

What the hell is this? If you are behind , not favored to win, not shooting particularly well, why hold the ball for the last shot? I can understand doing that at the end of close game, but c'mon....the Griz should have driven to the basket, ala UCLA, Duke, or any top team and if they miss, they might get a foul.....I just don't get why anyone does this....UM is not alone....

I'm not a big fan either. But every team in the country does it.
 
Live at the game!

Griz I think need to come inside more. They seem to be having success underneath but aren't attacking it enough. Overall Weber I don't think has the ability to match up inside. That'll open up the perimeter for 3's that are less contested.

Weber is an amazingly athletic team - their ability to use screens and dart to the basket or cut out for a 3 is incredible. Griz need to guard against getting beat at the top better.

Still anyone's game! Go GRIZ!!
 
I agree with ReMax. The Griz need to pound the ball. I don't think Weebs can match up inside. But for that to be real effective, the guards have to knock down a kick-out now and then. So far, not much luck with that.
 
Griz just cannot seem to get that big hoop to sustain their runs. AJ trying to do a little too much individually right now.
