Anybody watching the Norfolk State - Bethune Cookman game?
Its 11-7 B-C with 9 minutes keft in the 4th....sloppy ass field due to rain.

Bethune Cookman gets another safety to seal the 13-7 win and 1st place in the MEAC.
Yawn for sure.

The field did look in pretty bad shape -- but we've seen teams do much better under far worse condition. First, it was not actually raining during the far. Second, soft as the turf was, it was not being torn up with pieces flying around or sticking to cleats. Bottom line: Two really bad teams facing off under poor conditions. Cripes Norfolk State had only 67 yards of total offense -- which I think they were held to a net zero yards (or maybe even negative yards) in the second half.

Final score 13-7 B-C, with 4 of B-C's points coming on two safeties. :puke:

Glad we only looked in on the game while the Clemson the Wake Forest game was still competitive.

I am not surprised by the score at all. If I'm not mistaken, these two teams statistically rank number one and two in defense in FCS football. So a score like this would only be natural. Just my two cents...

That explains a lot. Well, they certainly should retain their defensive stat positions after last night's game.
