I've been a supporter of Hypenated this entire season... However! If he keeps up the theatrics -(grabbing his helmet, throwing mini-tantrums, drooping his head) - out on the field everytime something goes South, he's going to lose me. Like the Color Commentator said.... his body language was terrible during the game. I've coached those types... the ones who turn into an Old Italian lady on the field. SHAMEFUL ATTACKS ON PLAYERS IS EMBARRASSING!

Grant you he didn't have a great game, didn't play well (to his own admission btw) but we won. Times are hard enough for these "kids" yes I use that term as majority of our team is Frosh & Soph. Critiquing a play is one thing but to assassinate any players abilities and demean their persona is NOT acceptable!

So let me ask what makes you qualified to criticize. That's a right that comes from people who have done something at an equitable or higher level. Did you play? If so, past high school? If so, whom or where did you learn the game from?

I am NOT talking about coaching Little League, Pop Warner or CYO. In order to make a truly insightful statement or comment one must have relevant knowledge and knowledge normally comes from the experience. Experience is derived from participation. Through participating your develop depth of knowledge.

You're an ass for creating this thread to begin with! Charmin is on sale at Albertson's go grab some & wipe the shit off your mouth cause I can smell your breath from here. By the way the rest of your ignorant (alleged) fans can keep your mouth shut too.

Don't go away mad....just go away!

There's alot of uneducated, knowledgeable people on here that are protected by anonymity. I like the open forum but there needP.S. B.Wahlberg I am challenging you to personally step up and police these people better on your site.s to be some restrictions. There's a difference between a critique & personal attack. pfffft. this is a message board. your pontificating won't change the nature of the beast.

Brint can correct me on this if I am incorrect but I don't think that is part of his job description. MODS and Chris are who you would want to make that request to, although I think argh! is correct.

Speaking of uneducated, knowledgeable people on here, this is not Brint's site. Try to catch up. And you would be surprised how many on this site played football at this level. Did you?

Does anybody think we would have lost to ISU or Weber with McKinney at quarterback?
Those two teams are a combined 2-16 with one of the wins against Black Hills State. We would have won both with PlayerRep at QB. Yet we barely escaped at Weber.

With TM at qb, we would not have "escaped at Weber."

Sorry if I misinterpreted your question. He's taking a lot of sh*t all over this thread. I don't know, I didn't get to see all games this year. From what I've seen he could at least start for Northern Colorado, ISU, Weber.
Don't you know how it works Mike? He had a bad half so therefore he sucks. :rule:

Oh yeah, thanks for the reminder. Crummy half in your second start as a college QB = you suck. Especially since we've got RGIII, I mean Adam B. in the wings.
Quit embarrassing yourself. You said you havent seen all the games this year and then you make the statement about SSH being able to start at NoCo (wrong), ISU (so wrong), etc. Then you throw Brezczek under the bus without ever seeing him play and he is the most physically talented QB we have ever had at UM.

You thought McKinney was a good choice so your credibility is gone

I'm so embarrassed. Not a football expert like yo bad self. So why do you believe I am wrong about NoCol and so wrong about ISU? What do you have to offer besides I'm wrong? BTW - I did not throw Brezczek under the bus. I'm just tired of people (including you) calling for a completely untested player as if they just know he's going to do better; making statements like "...the most physically talented QB we have ever had at UM." Really based on what besides your opinion?

Yep, you are right, I thought McKinney was a good choice - like lots of people and the coaches. I think he got a shot, like he should have. However, now SSH is playing better, he earned his shot. Is changing your mind based on the evidence in front of you a credibility killer? Did I ever claim to have any credibility? Do I need to have credibility to agree with another poster?

Obviously new here, but can't argue with the sentiment at all. Regardless of who the coaches decide to put on the field.....Go Griz!

We would have more than escaped; they couldn't stop our ground game with TM running the zone read. They would have had to respect TM keeps; they certainly did not have to respect SSH keeps.

Six of one, half a dozen of the other...

S-H is 2-2 as a starter.
I suspect what you meant to say is that he is two for two, not two and two as indicated. You are correct; wins against two teams with one FCS win between them in 16 tries. Any improvement from game 1 to game 2? The only improvement I saw is a reduction of ints from 2 to 1. Anything to hang your hat on... I hope there is a higher ceiling for this option but it isn't yet visible and we've hurt the running game that was already hurt by the loss of DM.

Sorry, I have to disagree with you. With TM in the game teams don't respect the pass and dweeber stacks the box. Like Grizmayor said, 6 of one half dozen of the other. And with our O line playing the way they have been and our running backs producing our running game is doing good and SSH doesn't need to run all the time. I get what your saying about them not respecting him in the run, but they have to respect his ability to throw even if he was off target in the first half of the dweeber game. He came out in the second half and did good.
Truthfully, I wouldn't mind seeing them let TM in every once in awhile.

that was my favorite part about Roper, God I miss that guy, he was entertaining as hell

So, what is comes down to, is this: Do McKinney's relative liabilities as a passer overcome SSH's relative liabilities as a runner? I think they do, and I don't think the equation is even close. We can all guess how SSH would have done against App State, Eastern Washington, Northern Arisona, etc., and how McKinney would have done against Weber, but that's a waste of time. So I'd say the obvious compromise is that Rosenbach should not hesitate to substitute if either guy isn't getting the job done. Come on, Rosey, let's not have another Johnny Montana against the Cats.

TM is like a Porche....he is flashy and fast and can break one at any time...but he is always in the shop with problems (turnovers/bad reads).

SSH is like a Chevy...big, dependable, not flashy, but gets you where you need to go and is never in the shop.

SSH may not be the answer, but he's the best we got right now. Gives them the best chance to beat the Cats.

Okay, but to make that analogy work, you got to admit that the highway from ISU to Weber was a much smoother ride than the road McKinney has had to travel.
