throwing away our future with Smithwick-Hann

Brzczeck will get his chance next year, in fact I'm already looking forward to seeing how he does in spring ball given time to fully grasp the offense and get on page with the WRs.

SSH was pretty darn bad the 1st half, but I'm not sure about you guys but I saw him lead a pretty damn good drive and score/2pt conversion that put the Griz in front for good.

BW -- why would they give him a chance next year? He got into Stanford so I doubt he is not playing because he can't learn the playbook....TM can run but not throw, SSH can throw but can not run....why not give AB a chance to see what he can do - not in mop-up time either - in a real game situation. Just curious

I LOVVVEEEE the "i personally now two players, and they think....blah blah blah blah" statement. Same BS different year. WHY is that newbie posters always "KNOW" the players who are unhappy, and throwing coaches and fellow teammates under the bus, and then those posters are rarely heard from again?

Shay is playing pretty well actually. I just wish they would completely scrap the zone read run portion of the offense for at least the rest of the season cause EVERYBODY knows he's rarely pulling it out of the running back's hand and keepin it. Weber was ready for him to give it up, over and over and over today!

Because it might actually be someone that is in the know and they are tired of reading everyones arm chair b.s. opinions that mean nothing most of the time. Just because someone signs up recently doesnt mean they dont have fresh ideas and information Mr. 2003. Not calling anyone out here, but just saying be open to the idea.

It is like initiation I think. Havgrizfan has a point though there seem to be a high percentage of posters on here new and old that seem to know players, coaches, administrators, boosters or any combination of the 4. I don't know any of them. You are also correct that new posters do also have fresh ideas. Carry on.

Its ironic that Montana transferred because he didn't think he would see the field this year and now looking back he would have probably been our starter this year. He would have for sure been the starter going into the season, at least.

2 of the last 3 games Hahn has been damn good. Today he was inconsistent, but every qb can struggle in any game, now and then. The GRIZ are playing much better overall with him at qb. As much as we want to see Adam B, the coaches will stick with Hahn. No reason to not stick with him.

And even though he was off in the first half he played a pretty good second half.

I wouldn't categorize any of his games as damn good.

Does anyone here really believe that the coaches are going to replace the starting QB, after two starts and two wins, for the last game of the season?

YES
Why so? Inquiring minds and all that sh1t

Missoula is not that big a town. Why is it hard for you to understand that many posters know players? These kids were not throwing anyone under the bus. They were just stating their opinion. You are the second person who has challenged my credibility because I am new to the site. I guess you have to be a long time blow hard to get any respect on here, right?

I admit I would like to see TM at QB when the Griz are in the red zone. Defenses aren't even looking at SSH on the zone read, because he's no threat to them. Since you can't stretch the field from there anyway, I think it would make since to put TM in when you're inside the 25.

Bear, if you want credibility, then name the players. If they aren't throwing anyone under the bus and are just stating their opinion, and they truly believe what they said to you, as you say, then they would have ZERO problem with being named. If there's no under the bus throwing or they weren't talking smack about their teammates then it shouldn't be an issue. Otherwise, it's just typical rumor mongering...

And I apologize, I wasn't meaning to suggest you have no credibility because you're a new poster, I was just pointing out that it always seems brand new posters always only post one or two things that are negative or controversial, then they disappear and never back up what they post.

A QBs job is to throw the ball or hand it off.

If you want a RB..........have your QB hand the ball to him

Maybe I will just disappear. Then you old timers can take turns stroking yourselves off. What did I say that was negative or controversial? And no I will not throw these players under the bus. It is interesting that you have a hard time believing that a Grizzly player could have an opinion about our QB situation which is different from yours or the coaches, and you basically call me a liar because I will not compromise these players on this board. These player comments were made off the record, and they will stay that way. Does not mean they are not true. I am done.
