throwing away our future with Smithwick-Hann

Brzczeck will get his chance next year, in fact I'm already looking forward to seeing how he does in spring ball given time to fully grasp the offense and get on page with the WRs.

SSH was pretty darn bad the 1st half, but I'm not sure about you guys but I saw him lead a pretty damn good drive and score/2pt conversion that put the Griz in front for good.

He did do better in the 2nd half for the most part.

S-H moves like a drunken shoplifter, but the alternatives aren't great either. If this staff sticks around for another year, I really hope they drop Pflu's spread and go with something the coaches are more familiar with. They have four offensive coaches familiar with pro style or west coast offenses. None of these guys coached the spread option before Pflu hired them. Players know when a coach is just one page ahead of them. It's just a bad deal.
Cheer up Greenacres, you're casting an awefully dark cloud east of Barker Avenue.

Ok, so he didn't start but he looks A LOT better than the 2 we've got now http://m.youtube.com/#/watch?v=pTUEi86t8Xo" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

You are wrong, GK is not a good QB either
He is better than what we've got now... IMO

Which means nothing!
TM basically admitted that he sucked and you wanna see more of him? I'm glad you're not the coach. I'm glad TM is benched. I've been waiting all season for that shit to happen

If it takes a 4.0 student from Stanford more than 8 games to grasp the offense, then we needd to install a different offense. I know two of the Griz starting offensive players, and both think Brzczeck should be starting. Not me talking, just telling you what I have heard from kids who are out there every week.

How do you think this offense will do against the Cats? It's going to be U-G-L-Y.
Truthfully I have watched them (msu) play 3 games this year and I am not that impressed. I think our O-line will lean on their D-line, msu's db's are better than ours but not by much and I think our front 7 put DM on his backside 5 or 6 times, if not more. I think this is a game the Griz can win if they want it, or lose if they don't. Would be nice if the coaches showed up with their heads not completely lodged.
Respect few, fear none.

I never asked any such question!

Does anyone here really believe that the coaches are going to replace the starting QB, after two starts and two wins, for the last game of the season?

I've been thinking this all year, the offense looks more natural with S-H in running less of the zone read. Not many coaches have Pflu's experience with the spread option. I'd be fine going with a more traditional offense next year if its what the coaches are more familiar with.

I LOVVVEEEE the "i personally now two players, and they think....blah blah blah blah" statement. Same BS different year. WHY is that newbie posters always "KNOW" the players who are unhappy, and throwing coaches and fellow teammates under the bus, and then those posters are rarely heard from again?

Shay is playing pretty well actually. I just wish they would completely scrap the zone read run portion of the offense for at least the rest of the season cause EVERYBODY knows he's rarely pulling it out of the running back's hand and keepin it. Weber was ready for him to give it up, over and over and over today!

For whatever reason, this coaching staff is incapable of change.

Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

I don't think you have to scrap it. The QB only has to run enough to keep the D honest on the option. West Virginia runs it and they are a pretty pass happy team. In watching the Griz the last couple of games they seem to be making some changes to the way they are running the offense with SH. Lotta trap plays today. Lotta plays similar to the O we had when we were playing...*gulp*...Bobby ball.

Because it might actually be someone that is in the know and they are tired of reading everyones arm chair b.s. opinions that mean nothing most of the time. Just because someone signs up recently doesnt mean they dont have fresh ideas and information Mr. 2003. Not calling anyone out here, but just saying be open to the idea.
