You’re arguing a position I never took. Point remains….he was always working with 2nd/3rd stringers because the first guys got hurt in each of his 3 seasons.

Not sure which QB was going to matter.

And the QBs were injured as a result of a scheme that, by design, failed to protect and exposed each QB. A stubborn coach refuses to adjust; a creative coach uses a TE to help protect.

I am not arguing with any “position” you took, but merely pointed out the frailty of the premise you added to the “philosophical discussion” about the respective offenses. I obviously don’t disagree about the QB injuries under Stitt, but Stitt should not get any pass for QB injuries when his offensive philosophy exposed each QB to injury more than the current offensive philosophy.
