I think most all of you are well versed enough in the world famous trash talker and backup RB Schmidt to know how parts of this one goes. It's a wide array of opinions that largely spans thoughts out further than just the game itself. We do talk plenty on the game, the FCS playoffs, and hit all the questions we had.

Yeaaahhh, I don't know if Schmidt is trying too hard, or thinks he has a persona or a cause he needs to defend, or what, but he's more than a little irritating on this pod. And this is coming from a guy who generally likes him.

That said, whenever he comes on the GFP and says all this wild ass anti-GRIZ shit, we roll to the national championship. So, see y'all in Nashville.

I don't have a long history with the pod but this might be the best pod I've listened to so far!

Edit: the pod's tech with Schmidt's audio is not up to the standard. Time to burn it down!

There's another way to defeat the cover 4 shell and it's connected to the Youtube pass plays I shared in a previous week. One of them was a KC Chiefs play.

Sarcasm came through: Remember when a 2-9 season would be redeemed by a win over the scats? The opposite happens, a 11-1 season become irredeemable after a loss to the scats.

Yeah, I remember listening to him after the NAU loss in 2023 when he said something like we didn’t have any “dudes” and that no one on that roster would start on the teams from his era… then we turned around and went undefeated all the way to the natty. I actually enjoy his Talking Schmidt segment with Colter every week, but he can be a little hard on the team considering they just went 11–1, earned the No. 3 seed, and their only stumble was a three-point loss to #3 at the end of an otherwise perfect season. (BW's rant after hearing the Griz get shit on for 3 hours was great 😅)

Cats and Griz are closing the gap on NDSU faster than anyone gives them credit for. Either team could be the one to finally get the Bison this year.
Pretty wild both teams from Montana are currently the only programs relevant behind NDSU.

Agreed. It's not as if he doesn't have some valid points. To an extent. But the constant "oh-my-god-the-sky-is-falling" shit gets old. I think he forgets we didn't win a ton of national championships in his day either.

No, we didn't win them but we were in the game and on the doorstep. Plus we won a lot of Big Sky Championships.

Yeah we have all new mics on boom arms that are great in the room - but we can’t control the zoom crackle that shows up a few times
 
So Schmidt is still living in his past??
Or is he playing the role of calling out the issues on the team to be a know it all??
How was his relationship with Hauck?
I don’t listen to the GFP because I feel they lik think they are more important than they really are.

Thanks we are really important. Maybe listen to this one and see what you can infer about Schmidt
