This is a great thread. My favorite part is that it's designated as a trash talk thread, but so many people seem to be offended that people are talking trash.

I never said other fans acknowledge MSU's flaws, I just said that I do. You missed the main point anyways though. Despite the things that are wrong with us, our school and football program is still on the up and up while your school continues to decline.

You couldn't undersell that comment anymore if you tried. Your program is so much worse than that. I wasn't even alive the last time the cats were a blip on the radar of the FCS in 1984.

First of all, you guys haven't won since 2001. That's not great either. Secondly, we have 3 championships in football while you guys have 2 (granted, 2 of ours weren't FCS, but even if I don't count those it's still only 2-1, so not underselling it there). Lastly, we have been a championship contender for 5 seasons now, and a staple in the FCS playoffs for longer than that, so if that's not even a "blip on a radar", then you simply don't know what constitutes a good team.

There's talking trash, and then there's saying things that simply aren't true. I'm not offended, it's just fun to prove people wrong. I find the actual trash talk towards Montana State quite humorous.

This is a day for me to remember and cherish old and bitter memories. I remember our student body president losing his trousers after we've lost to the bobcats back in around 1967 or so. I remember the bobcats watering the field when we played there during Coach Haucks first term. I remember drunk bobcats spilling whiskey down the back of my neck. I remember them screaming obscenities at my husband and me when we were in our 40s over in Bozeman wearing our grizz gear. I remember the bobcats still suck polka. This game is engraved in my bones. Go Grizzlies.
 
I remember sitting in the stadium before we had that elegant turf. It was raining had rained the whole game and we beat the pants off the stupid bobcats. My husband and I... In those days they really didn't care if you brought your own liquor in let's be honest... We're feeling mellow and warm at the end of the day at the end of the game with Bailey's and coffee. We were watching the The Grizzlies do the slip and slide through mud puddles and mud out of pure joy. And the sound rang out across the field mooooo! Pooor Bobcats!
 
I remember sitting at the game after we had administered a pretty good kicking to them at halftime. We had this lovely couple behind us. I would speculate that he may well have been a griz football player back in the day. He was an older guy but big and had on a hat like a grizzly bear. His wife was a little lady who would would yell oh my goodness scamper boy scamper. So they got up out of their seats. And these two drunken bobcat college-age children came over and said we're taking those seats. And my husband said you can't have those seats they belong to somebody else. And they were really drunk and they said Oh shut up or something like that. And I said all right blue eyes you just sit there I was trying to avert a fight by treating them like the children they were. So the one boy says to the other boy we're so pathetic she feels sorry for us. Pretty soon the big old grizz guy comes back and says in a booming voice:out of the seats. And they scuddled away.

0-0 doesn’t count as a championship. At best you have 2 1/2, 1 of which is at the upper level.
