This team has heart

This senior class has amazing talents, but I think their biggest attribute is their heart. Anything can happen in tournament play, but this team should end up being in the Dance. It will be suck to watch all the Seniors leave this team. Mac Anderson, Pridgett, Falls and Manuel should be a Force next year. I think if Anderson can gain 20 pounds he can be a dominating force in this league. Hope we can keep our coach.

They got that stud D2 transfer who was MVP of his league too. Can’t think of name off top of head but I know they were excited to land him. How has he looked in practice?

Edit: found it....tony miller...freshman of the year...averaged a darn near double-double with 19-9 and shot 37% from 3

Miller looked very good in the pre-season scrimmage! :thumb:

Agree that the team plays with heart. They also keep their cool and never panic.

Egun may also contribute next season.

Plus a top notch recruiting class discussed in length on other threads here.

I know the Griz lose a great senior group this year, but we are reloading with some serious ammo. Teams that are glad we don't have Ahmad, Oguine, Bobby, and Akoh next year aren't going to be happy with what we return. We are definitely reloading with Pridgett, Manuel, Timmy, (hopefully) Dorsey, and Mack as well as our other underclassmen and recruits. The future is looking F@cking awesome.

As of now, it looks as if Dorsey won't be back. I hope he decides to apply for another year. With Yagi coming aboard, he'll be on scholarship next season. Then again, maybe someone will leave after this season.

Yes, this team has a lot of heart. Good thing, the player with the most heart and biggest bite will be the leader next season. That is Pridgett.

Pridgett has already made a case for team leader this year. Love what he has done over the course of this season. He's a f@cking stud. I hope Dorsey applies, too. He should, if he wants, of course. I really think that, give all he's faced, he will really regain top form with another season.

I am sure that someone will leave after this season. Happens every year. I have my suspicions but wouldn't guess until after the season. No point at speculating until then anyway. I'm sure you all have guess on that, too.

Pridgett's attitude, heart, and toughness on the level of Jordan Gregory and Will Cherry. The guy will do anything and everything for the team. He refuses to be the reason for a loss. He also takes losses very hard. Can you imagine his game, if gets his 3 point shot to a consistent 40%. I wouldn't put it past him either.

I think that, if he wanted, he would be there on the 3-point shooting. But this team doesn't require him to be that right now. We need him to be a post scorer and that's what he does and excels at despite his size. He's really amazing down low with how he uses the backboard and can alter his shot depending on his size match-up.
