Not that I’m a Twitter expert, but notice he didn’t write the Tweet so that it would appear to any Montana fans. Had he apologized to #GrizNation or @MontanaGrizFB fans I might buy it, but he didn’t.

I think his apology was to safe face with Bengal fans that were likely upset and embarrassed by his no-class gesture to visiting fans that was captured by the television cameras. That is why he included #GoBengals.
