This is How...

AZ, we get it that you hate Hauck. So what do you want Kent to do, fire him? Then what? Who becomes our new coach and how do we compensate him? Please outline your plan.

Don’t be a knucklehead, Spanky. We are good with 6-5 for the next 10-12 years at least, as long as we’re tough and only play Montana boys.

You gonna back a guy who blamed the loss on Nash’s personal foul penalty? Good call, PR.

I'm not "backing" anyone. I'm just agreeing you are an idiot, sometimes.

Bottom line, we fired Coach Stitt for less than this. From what I've heard some of the "big money" wasn't happy with Coach Stitt's results, are those same people happy now? That's a serious question. Can someone like PR, give us direct quotes from "the boosters"?

Stitt was fired because in Year 3, and with mostly his own players, he couldn't beat the Cats and make the playoffs. If Hauck is losing to the Cats and not making playoffs in Year 3, he may be gone too. However, he won't be doing that.

The Big Boosters whom I have talked to are still high on Bobby. They have seen a different team this year, one that played harder and worked very hard to win. This was noticeable from the first game.

could you imagine how good of a coaching job bobby would have done if he had to play second and third string qbs (well, 4th string) all season due to freak injury?

I get that you don’t like Hauck. Fine. But you cannot deny that Hauck does not have anywhere near the offensive or defensive line talent that he had the last time he was here. We will be fine once he addresses those two issues. And to be fair, he wasn’t playing not to lose, rather he kept attacking. The players once again were in position to put the game away despite their shortcomings at various positions and they pissed down their leg. This loss is on the players. Specifically sneed and Eastwood. Back to back series with a turnover, and the last coming on the goal line. That’s not on the f***ing coaches.

Did you watch any games this year? Eastwood is not a starting fcs running back. Putting him in that position is 100% on the coaches. Decent running backs are not that hard to find, Bobby loves Eastwood and that's who we are going to get. Same goes for Sneed but Sneed made some great plays and great throws this year. That is my biggest complaint about Bobby. If someone doesn't get the job done it should be next man up. Also there is a reason Lee isn't at WSU. Drop downs at skill positions rarely are exceptional players unless the reason for dropdown is character.

I was thinking last night how great Bobby did to have a starting QB play the whole season. Something our previous coach couldn't accomplish.

Tough coaches find the tough players required to have 6-5 seasons.

Saw another post that the Griz had the lead going into the 4th quarter in 9-11 games, tied in one and behind only to UND. Need to finish....

....you turn a 9-2 season into a 6-5 season. Come from ahead losses against WIU, UC-Davis and MSU. Excellent. Apparently Bobbyball isn’t capable of playing four consecutive quarters of football. Not sure Bobby’s “play not to lose” mentality is gonna work this time around. He remains one of the shittiest coaches I’ve ever seen at making adjustments and adjusting to the other coach’s adjustments. He also remains a petulant child when it comes to dealing with today’s players, and his “playing favorites” and running off talented players is gonna mire us in mediocrity for years.

Today he got outcoached by f***[*] Choate. Choate spotted him a 22 point lead, then diced him up and toyed with him for the last 35 minutes. Sure glad we fired Stitt so we could blow it all up again, go 6-5 with the easiest schedule we’ve had in 10 years and lose to the Scats again.

Where are all those Haucksuckers who said we’d win this game because “Bobby’s from Montana and he REALLY wants to win”...

Next year, with that murderer’s row of a schedule, we’ll be dancing on the rooftops if we go 6-5. And miss the playoffs again.

Isn’t this freaking AWESOME???

You're an idiot

Coming from the guy who blamed the loss on Nash, I’ll take that as a compliment.

For you Trajectorians, what will be the trajectory if we go, say, 5-6 or 6-5 next season? Good? Great? Awesome?

Hard nosed.

We’re gonna need 5-7 years of trajectory before we can pass judgement.

Agreed. Give the man some time to at least equal what the last guy did before you say he hasn't done a fantastic job.

Wow, Bobby pretty much accomplished the same in year one as Stitt did in year 3 even with several of Stitt's pampered, entitled players leaving.

Totally. Definitely no better. A little worse on the record. Same loss to the Bobcats. Definitely a lot worse than Stitt's first year, I don't think anyone would argue against that. But, I think the trajectory is good.

don't forget the kicker that msu got into the playoffs less than an hour ago.

Bobby Hauck must be held to the same standard as Bob Stitt. If, in year 3, we are 7-4; missing playoffs; and losing to the Cats (and unfortunately, I predict we will be all three) Hauck should be history. I hope, to be fair, people on this board will have Hauck on the bubble next season. This year he produced similar results to Mick and Stitt.

How can you hold him to the same standard when the last guy wasn't even a homegrown Montanan?
