It's like....who would have ever thought, Big Sky Ski Resort would be the largest ski resort in the nation? I mean really, in Montana?
Big Sky is one of the best business stories in Montana. Boyne bought Big Sky resort for a $1million when Chrysler was on the ropes. It bought the Spanish Peaks resort on liquidation for $26 million and Picked up Moonlight Basin for when Lehman was in a death spiral. Not too many privately owned properties like Lone Mountain in the U.S.
