Every GRIZ coach has mentioned the importance of having fans in the stadium for as much of the game as possible. Opposing teams choose to defer to having the ball until the 2nd half, why is that? They know damn well the crowd will NOT be as much of a factor for the 1st 6 minutes of the 2nd half!!!
Nobody here is saying the reason the GRIZ lose is strictly because of the fans. The team, coaches, players, etc acknowledge this because, it is a difference maker. The more we can do, the better!!! We fans jump coaches for not utilizing the best players and situations. Yet our own fan base, does not understand, or respect how important our fans can be, and how fans can positively influence games for the GRIZ!!!
Can we not show our team a little more appreciation and challenge ourselves to be the best fanbase we possibly can be? I don't get how some on here can bitch about the team, coaches, players, etc not doing a number of things, yet those same people cannot commit to our teams more? I guess, to those people, it is a 1 way street. It's okay, acceptable, and respectable for them to have expectations of greatness and best efforts of the team, but the team cannot have expectations of the fans???

Spot on! It’s why it’s called HOMEFIELD ADVANTAGE!
5 false starts in the first half, several more gone unnoticed by the officials, and multiple personal fouls.... and Davis QB even said that the crowd caused them problems the entire first half. They were rattled.
All it takes is 6 minutes of a half-empty stadium in the second half to let opponents get in sync, and many fans don’t understand that. We should be making it hell for opponents all 60 minutes.
Well stated. :thumb: Why pay what one does for a ticket or tickets, if they are using it to socialize? Why even buy a ticket or tickets, if that is a main priority? It sure in the hell would make more sense to just tailgate, and not attend the game at all. The longer fans are away for the 2nd half the less advantage home field advantage is. It does give opponents to gain or take back momentum for however long it may be for.
