Things to look for in Saturday's noon scrimmage

What has been said is the offense didn't stink but REALLY stunk. The last scrimmage is set for April 11th with a week off for spring break. Not a lot of time. Maybe we have to take a step back and realize Stitt may not happen for some time.
2 weeks and 6 practices and you're ready to write it off. Genius. Did you notice anything about the playlist today? Like how they only worked on 4-5 plays?

I'm not worried. It usually takes a new offensive and/or defensive scheme time to start finding some consistency. It takes all 11 players working in sync. Also Gregorak's defense is entering it's 4th year. Meanwhile, the offense is only in week 2. I would expect that kind of difference. I'd be disappointed in the defense had it struggled against a new offensive scheme.

I will be worried if going into October this offense is still struggling. If I recall correctly, Pflu's new offense took some time to find itself. It finally to start to find consistency 1/2 way through the that season.

It sounds like the defense is really geared up tho so let's sit on that and see if Germer and co. can get the offensive line up to snuff. How many years in a row will we go through offensive line issues :help:

It is all about line play right now. Offense will show nothing until it improves.

You made the trip over to watch?

Germer is a great OL coach, he will have the boys just fine come playoff time. Fortunately, the GRIZ have the best defense in the conference to keep them in games until the OL finds it's consistency.

Cool. Glad you got to go see it in person.

We can :dead: over the O all day. Am wondering what you guys who were there thought about the new kids on D? The edges of this group are going to be key. How did the DB crew look?

Offensive line...terrible in space

Says the guy who wasn't there...

He could see it through the tweets

Wait, I thought he said he was there. Why would anyone comment on how something looked when he didn't see it. That wouldn't make sense, unless the person just wanted to make a negative comment.

I was there no matter what Brint and 420 say.
