I would appreciate some suggestions for things to do in Butte.
I have not been to Butte in 30 years
I will be at Fairmont for a few days and plan on spending a day in Butte.
Will be catching the Griz basketball game on Monday afternoon.
TIA

This isn’t Butte, and it’s probably been 5+ years since I’ve been, but there’s a really good Italian restaurant in Anaconda. Bella’s or something. I just remember having a fantastic meal.

Freeway Tavern
Chicken shack
Vu Villa Pizza
Maloneys
Cassandras steak house
I used to tell everyone the M&M but its garbage now that it burned down and is remodeled
Copper King has decent steaks too

On our trips to games, we stay in Anaconda rather than Missoula for a lot of reasons. We usually have a great meal at O'Bella, convenient since it's right across the street from our motel.

Donavan's in anaconda is great for breakfast. Also take the historic trolly tour..just did a few months ago and was worth it. Pekin Noodle parlor was a let down..the M&M cafe was excellent right near the old M&M. Lidia's supper club is a must if for no other reason than just because......

Wop Chop at the Freeway. Chinese food at the Pekin Noodle Parlor.
If the Pekin is open, it's definitely worth the dining experience alone. Food's OK, but it's the oldest continuously run Chinese restaurant in the US. I also don't think it has been remodeled since the 30's.

Eating at the bar at Lydia's off the appetizer menu during happy hour is a real treat, and a cheap one at that.

Most of the aforementioned plus

-Butte Brewing Company for an Irish Red
-Headframe Spirits for one of their signature cocktails (take home some Orphan Girl Bourbon Cream)
-Stop by Shepard's Candy on Harrison Ave and pick some candy for the road - best Carmel in the world!
-World Museum of Mining (behind Tech)if you are interested in the local history

I know you have gotten a LOT of food suggestions here, but Mr. Hot Dog must be seen to be believed. It is both gourmet hot dogs and legit, from scratch, authentic Italian food. I love a good Chicago dog, and the linguini in white clam sauce. I'm telling you, this place has to be seen to be believed, and the old man is getting up there. It won't be around much longer.
