There is no way we will lose this game

I think we may end up seeing just have tough and how physical each team is. I assume both teams are both. I don’t know which team is tougher and more physical. The Griz were way tougher and more physical than Weber. I don’t know how tough and physical Weber is this year.

This is what sport is about. I am excited.

This year like none in recent memory we've watched opponents "quit" on the field against the Griz. EWU. Idaho. ISU. Weber. They start off cocky, brash, loud--even in Wa/Griz. Maybe even get a little lead going...Then by about midway through the 2nd quarter when the tide has started to shift, you can start to see it in their body language...the Griz have weathered their initial burst and are starting to exert control....their shoulders sag...helmets are flying off...injuries mount...and by the middle of the 3rd they're totally demoralized. They just want to get the game over and get on the bus. They're tired of having zero margin for error. Tired of getting whacked by Olson or Hauck or Robertson or Lewis or O'Connell or Sims or Sandry or Rice or Mamula or Alford or Gubner. Tired of running for their lives. Tired of not being able to stop anyone....

RELENTLESS is the word that comes to mind. Both offensively AND defensively. It's been an absolute pleasure to watch all year. Can't WAIT for the playoffs.

I love how overconfident you all are this year, just like every year. Recall that the Cats were down 0-22 shortly before halftime and then came back and won in Mazzola - they aren't going to lay down. I truly think the Cats are going to win this year and here's why. Rovig is finally starting to get a rhythm and UM is DEAD LAST in pass D. This will be the best O line the Jizz have played this year. The Griz D is going to stack the box too hard on the run and #85 and #10 are going to break some BIG pass plays open. That is then going to open up some running lanes for our #1 running back Ifanse, who is finally back, as the defense second guesses. Amandre and Sterk are both now healthy and going to get to Schneebles and remind him why he lost that drive-killing fumble last year. Our crowd is going to get to the O this year and Shneeb lacks confidence from last year's game. Troy Andersen is going to make some huge plays on both sides of the ball; it IS his will. None of your defenders have the speed to catch him in the open field. I do think it is going to be a super intense game and very fun to watch. It's going to be nearly as fun watching this place go up in a ball of flames afterwards.

The best thing about this post is that it will undoubtedly be your last this year.

Of course not! Everyone knows that the dawn of history and football itself started in 1986...

Good post. I hope you are right. As I said, I just can't tell how physical and tough the Griz are. As u said, way more than recent years.

Exactly. And it boils down to two words. Champions. Center. Everyone talked about what a game changer the new facility would be and we are seeing it play out every Saturday in the 3rd and 4th Q.

For some reason, I am as confident about this game as I have been about any game all year.

Perhaps I should be worried about that....

That is usually the setup before getting a D on a college exam.

Ah, so we finally get confirmation that the 1984 championship year never actually happened. Glad we got some clarity on that :P

 Aside from the fact that not one shred of video evidence exists regarding the false 1984 National Championship (which, BTW, didn't MSU put the number 1984 into their actual turf a while back? Haha!), I learned while listening to the GFP that MSU actually claims another National Championship which was a 0-0 tie. Is that true? Do they really claim to have "won" that NC?

Honestly, if you had a friend who was a huge CFB fan, but knew nothing about the BSC, and he asked, "What do I need to know about the MSU Bobcats?", all you'd have to tell him is: They claim a 0-0 tie as a NC. He would get the picture immediately.

Why do you guys even care? Seriously? You all have been rambling on for years about championships. You should be looking ahead to the playoffs.

Good luck if you are banking on defensive passing stats as your key to a win. By the same logic, Southern Utah and Idaho are the number 1 and 2 teams in the conference.

I think the Griz will be happy let Rovig attempt to beat them through the air. If he does it, good for the Cats...But he hasn't proven to be a consistent threat there. The Griz will roll the dice on that one. The Cats may gain some yards there, but I don't see the Griz giving up many points in the passing game.

Also...Mazzola, Jizz, Schneebles, Schneeb? That's some really good stuff, comedy gold if you ask me. I hope there is more where that came from. ;)

Counter of Salt? I assume that moniker is in reference to how they let you pass time at the center. A shaker of Mortons, pair of tweezers, empty lard can, and an abacus and you are quiet right from rec time right through until supper.

Or did you actually assault a counter? I mean unless it happened to have some stratigically placed pine knots, I don't even see how that's possible.

I don’t get where MSU thinks their OL is the best we have seen. I would say Oregon, Monmouth, Sac State and Weber have better OL play than MSU.

The Cats are a good team, they just are not as good as the Griz. The body of work leading up to this game proves that point.

If both teams play well, the Griz win. If both teams play poorly the Griz win. If the Cats play well and the Griz play poorly, the Cat's will win. If the Cat's play poorly and the Griz play well, Griz win by 45.
