The whole football program needs an overhaul

Self righteous attitude from the administration on down. The pregame ritual has become so tiresome it's a joke. The constant ads and announcements kill any momentum. The coaching staff has the personality and creativity of a paper bag (notice the Don Read quick kick by the bobcats) and the players seem just burned out by it all. I'm seriously fed up with the whole thing.

Went to the EWU game this year...shitty field, but the game day was much better than UM. Had a lot of fun there, minus the loss and the rain. EWU will be around for a long time. They are on the rise and the Griz are on the way down, pains me to say it, but the truth hurts and it is what it is at this point.

WTF, who is "self-righteous?"

If you're worried about pre-game "rituals" at this point, I don't know if you can be reasoned with.

Ads and announcements killing momentum? Seems like maybe you need to pay attention...

We are now one of the bottom feeder teams in the Big Sky which is tragic to see, however, we have been at the bottom before in our long football history. We will, in time, return to our former position of dominance with a well thought out plan and determination.

Which this administration and coaching staff lacks. If the admin wants to gamble on a new coach.. get Justin Greene. I don't know. But I do think the Stitt experiment was an unmitigated disaster.

My son and I talked about this on the way home from the eastern game and also today. We score a TD and we get some baby picture crap or something on the jumbotron. Monty is almost non existent and his skits are not even worth watching. I think the game day experience is all about $$$ instead of the crowd. Just my two cents.

It's because you can't replace genuine crowd enthusiasm for a dominant winning program with artificially induced hype. Turning up the volume on "Crazy Train" doesn't replace actually stopping the opponent on 3rd down. The cash cow is not on life support but it's not healthy.
