i don't know about this particular issue; maybe mslcat's info is not the best. but over a long period of time covering many different issues (especially recruiting), mslacat's info has always been early and correct, and to call him a "big mouth" is totally uncalled for.

I think Mslacat has excellent sources, partially due to contacts, and partially because he subscribes to some recruiting sites and is gernous enough to share info.

I saw some of the crap he posted about a certain Griz too, and yes, he does pile on the Griz a lot more on BN, but I guess maybe he feels he has to over there. All in all, he is a damn good poster the majority of the time, for a bobcat.

Again, you can get technical about the recruiting. Really, Kennedy is the one who gave Kevin the scholarship. Holst just promised it if he agreed to walk on for a redshirt freshman year.

Not true, Kennedy did not sign Criswell. Holst gave him the scholly and he did it after he was told his contract would not be renewed. Holst wasn't terminated immediately, he was still the head coach through the end of the contract date -- end of June I believe. Holst said he promised Kevin a scholly and he was going honor his word. It was mentioned in a story in the paper Kevin's senior year. Kevin said he was grateful to Holst for keeping his word, because he had an ankle injury that spring, and he didn't know if Kennedy would have given him a chance.

Playing dumb huh? Guess you already forgot about Mike Murphy?

Unfortunately it's true, Mslacat is a cheapshot artist. Over on bobcat nation he is ALWAYS taking potshots at UM. Not just the football team or the basketball team, he pretty much nails anything and everything associated with UM: the teams, the coaches, the fans, eGriz, and the school itself.
