Absolutely right! Without the constitution, we would never have a black man as President!

And hopefully will not have another one for a very long time. The great black hope has crashed and burned, bringing Chicago politics to Washington DC.

Not to be political on a fan board, but even on his worst day, Obama has the "Decider" beat. "Mission Accomplished" LOL.

You have to be stupid to not agree with Brian at this point. :thumb:

When you follow things like this up with a chintzy and cute icon, it really lessens your overall point.

We can have a debate about the Obama presidency without delving into his race, but don't let me interrupt the Klan party, bro. Carry on.

Yeah the icon is way worse than falsely race-baiting. P.S. There is no debate about who is worse - Obama by a mile. ;) :thumb: :D

But that wasn't Brian's main point. Brian's point (that you readily agreed to) was that any black person shouldn't be President. And you were given opportunity (which you still have, but are too stubborn to take) to walk it back.

I guess I thought his main point was that this President has failed because he is a product of typical dirty Chicago politics. (see Daley). If it was because Obama is black, then I strongly disagree with that contention. I never "readily agreed" with anything. Nice try at grouping, or is it profiling?

I'll take that one under advisement as I slowly count my earnings from the stock market over the past few years.

Politics is a dirty mess no matter where you are from. The one constant: people have short memories. Case in point - GrizPony.

You are an idiot if you don't know that Chicago holds the record for corruption in politics. Wait a minute, you are an idiot regardless.

Fair enough. But it really is hard to not follow the exchange and its racist intent, as the quotes were used:

Butte holds the record, and in total Montana. We are the only state that forced an amendment to the US constitution as there was no other way to overcome the "corruption." They may have sent a governor from Illinois to the pen for selling a Senatorial seat. But in Montana they set a booth up with the prices of the day prominently posted.

prolly the first let down in that old machine was attempting to take on BW and get Pat Williams onto the BOR.

Your a fucking moron. Why don't you come to Butte and run your yapper like that? You would be leaving in a bag!!!!!

Maybe I'm wrong here, but never understood how Obama is our first black President. I thought he had one white parent? Wouldn't that technically make him our first mulatto President?

PR, you are being very liberal in your interpretation of the Montana Constitution. It doesn't say anything about college in that section. It also does not mention anything about college disciplinary proceedings. How far does the section go? To graduate school? Med school?

I was just addressing your earlier comment indicating there was no constitutional right to education. I don't think you would win that type of case in MT, due to the MT constitutional provision on education. I didn't try to interpret anything in my post on the MT constitution. I just quoted the first part of the provision. I figured you weren't aware of that provision.

I assume you don't dispute that there are constitutional rights to due process that apply to public universities?

Punch is correct. The basis of the provision on education is free public K-12 and each student getting equal opportunities. It does not extend to public universities, because once it is not free education, there is nothing equal about it.

Nope, as usual, you are incorrect. First, Punch said nothing about the MT Constitution. I brought that up. Second, Title X of the MT Constitution clearly also deals with university education. In fact, among other things, the Board of Regents is defined and empowered under one of the sections of Title X. I also contacted a friend who was a member the constitutional convention committee and was one of the primary draftsmen, and confirmed that Title X also dealt with and applied to higher/university education.

What's the point of just making up crap like you just did and often do?

Pales in comparison to "the most transparent administration ever...."

PR, you're getting liberal again in your interpretation. A right to a K-12 education is really not in dispute. Do you think that an 18 year old can sue the State of Montana for not being able to go to college, whatever the circumstances of her life may be? Is it an inherent right, or must it be fought for, like the right to party?

You are really grasping at straws when you honestly suggest that the BOR is "empowered" under title 10. Empowered to do what? Ensure that all students are able to go to college? That's not the responsibility of the state. That's up to each student on a case by case basis. If you are denied because of race, religion, or something else, that's a different issue, but it is not surprising you blend the two into one.

We're talking about the procedural due process afforded college students in University proceedings. Although the constitution does indeed apply to the proceedings themselves, the act of removing a student based on a less than reasonable doubt standard is not a constitutional violation.

You act like this innocent until proven guilty standard should exist everywhere, even in sports. A-Rod, Ryan Braun and other MLB players are about to be suspended from the game indefinitely because a key witness is going to testify against them. Note that he hasn't testified yet and also note that those players haven't had the constitutional right to confront their accusers. But they will be deprived of their right to play the game regardless, because, like a University education, there is no constitutional right to play baseball.

AZGriz, maybe you and your buddy Bradley Manning can continue to crusade to make the government more transparent by revealing classified military secrets. I would say the same thing about any soldier or government employee with knowledge who reveals this information to the public, regardless of the political affiliation of the administration. There are just some things that we don't deserve to know. Most important among them are tactical decisions, movement of troops, technology advancements, etc. We the people aren't too bright, in case you haven't noticed, and we don't need to witness everything that goes on in our government.

My Lai Massacre. I rest my case about the public deserving to know information. Security does not justify deplorable acts. Many occurred in Iraq and Afghanistan. The America I was raised to believe in does not fear the truth nor should we fear ethics and accountability. The government should not have unchecked power. Should the young man have disclosed military secrets. No and he will be prosecuted. More troubling is some of the information he disclosed. Civilians being killed without proper checks and balances being in place. War is hell, but that is no excuse. Now - back to football.

What in the fuck does ANY of that have to do with the shit he's doing now? I'm not talking about divulging military secrets you dipshit...I'm talking about the IRS targeting conservative nonprofits....AP scandal....Benghazi....all massive coverups in which he AND senior members of his cabinet have repeatedly lied to us and to Congress...ALL of these were going on with his full knowledge well before the election, but the complicit lapdog media helped him to keep it all from the voting public until AFTER he was reelected.....keep hanging your hat on this buffoon though...he's right up your alley.

Woah big fella! Relax. Read my post about how Americans have some of the shortest memories on the planets. I'll see you during the next Republican scandal. I hope then that I won't be as aggressive as you are here.
