Agree. Speakers throughout would solve the issue in my opinion. Bubs also plan to announce a stadium expansion/upgrades in the coming weeks as well. Hopefully we have some upgrades planned in the near future as well.
They keep doing upgrades while we just stay status Quo. They will seat 30K before us.
Has nothing to do with people in change of game day entertainment. They work with what they have. They simply don't have the money to put in a brand new sound system. Plus 27,000 people show up every weekend so they can’t be doing that bad of a job. You should shell out the money to get it done!
Maybe they should have someone check to see if the existing speakers and amps are working properly or the perhaps the eq is set incorrectly correctly because there there’s very little bass coming from the speakers.
How much money do we need to keep contributing? Our ticket prices are the highest in the FCS. Where do we draw the line? Or where do we start to contribute for this to happen?
I would imagine that Learfield would chip in substantially, as they are the ones who are selling the advertising announcements.
My guess is that the chances of Learfield chipping in are less than zero...
Why? Didnt they pay for the video board a few years ago?
I believe they did through a financial arrangement that helped them with increased fees generated through their marketing arrangement with the University. That said pressure for profitability would dictate an arrangement that would bring in some 3rd party money coupled with some capital expense from the University. Their track record of opening their checkbook without some benefit isn't good...and before someone chimes in I don't mean the benefit of the crowd hearing the promotional messages "more" clearly...
..responsible for the big hair music blaring on the shitty speaker system right up to the effing snap…please..so annoying
